Surfside has always been a special part of our annual family trips to Destin. Every year, at least one family member books a room here, so I was excited to finally experience staying at Surfside myself!Overall, our stay was cozy and enjoyable, and Surfside continues to be a familiar favorite for our family. Although this particular unit didn’t offer the beautiful beachfront view and morning waves we’ve come to love, it still had nice views of the surrounding area and was a comfortable place to relax.The biggest downside was communication with the host. There were quite a few automated messages, which made it difficult to get a more personal response when needed. Thankfully, the lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful!A few small touches, such as an extra thicker blanket, spare toiletries, and a few additional essentials, would make the stay even more comfortable.Despite these minor inconveniences, we enjoyed our time here and look forward to continuing our family tradition at Surfside. With a little more attention to guest communication and comfort, this unit could be an even better experience!
