Perfect cozy home! A lot of attention is paid to guest comfort. The open layout overlooking the mountains made cooking, eating, sitting by the fire place or watching movies feel like an outdoor experience.
We were in Thornton for a wedding at the Owl’s Nest. The venue was beautiful but we were happy to stay at the Mountain View Home. Even though it rained most of our stay, we were comfortable and enjoyed our time there. I wish we could’ve stayed longer and spent time on the deck. Stunning view of the mountains.
This house will NOT disappoint! The house is well maintained and the view off the deck is spectacular!
There were little details like a telescope and binoculars available for use. The sweet little fireplace kept the house cozy and warm. The bathrooms were well stocked with towels and the beds were extremely comfortable! Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. If you want a comfortable and cozy getaway to New Hampshire, THIS is the place to stay!

Perfect home for a family vacation in NH
We sure loved that there were 3 floors so we could all spread out. The basement level 4 bunks was great, the split unit really kept this area the perfect temps. The upstairs bedrooms were rather hot some nights, the provided fans and the windows that had screens (not all did) helped, but one night was still unbearablely hot in July. The little room had no available screens and so the basement became more of a slumber party than planned. We didn't cook much but there was a good supply of items needed to cook/serve food in (pots, pans, plates, cups, mixing bowls) as well as some very basic pantry items and spices. Many board games, books and activities provided. Neighborhood was quiet, loved the forest (that led to the river in a distance, but not viewable) in the back yard. We spent quite a bit of time sitting on the back porch just looking into the tree area during the day or watching fire flys, stars or distant fireworks in the night. Would stay at again and would recommend to others.
We offer exceptional vacation homes across the country's most celebrated ski towns and coastal retreats. Each property is carefully selected, locally managed, and held to our high standards of care. We live and work in the communities we serve, which means every stay comes with generous local knowledge, genuine hospitality, and the confidence that what you booked is exactly what you'll find.
