Exceeded expectations

Spent a long weekend with some friends on a ski trip and everyone was very happy with the place. The rustic feel of the place with the cast iron shove/furnace was a great touch. The pictures didn't show how spacious the place really was. Plenty of sleeping space and area to hang out in the evening. Look forward to coming back!

This house isn’t for everyone. It’s old, like great grandma’s house old, and much of it is outdated. But that’s exactly what makes it special. It tells a story. It’s unique, cozy, comfortable, and spacious enough for large families to truly spread out and relax.We absolutely loved the den and spent a lot of our time there. The linens were clean, and the beds were mostly comfortable. The water pressure was great, and we never had an issue with hot water.The kitchen was incredibly well equipped. It had everything we could possibly need, and it is very clean :) That said, the house could definitely use a major dusting in some areas.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would rent this space again.

While the house is beautiful and has potential to be a great place for people traveling to this area. There is a huge need for deep cleaning. There is an accumulation of dust that is not good for people with allergies. There is also a strong smell that we easily fixed by adding candles and plug-in scent oils. Making the stay a little less uncomfortable. Lots of spiderwebs everywhere and we even found mouse poop. The pictures do not reflect the actual condition on the house. We, unfortunately, had a big disappointment going to this place.

The house's set up is great for big groups and has all the amenities you need. The lake is absolutely stunning. The water is super clean, clear and in July the water was the perfect swim temperature. Highly highly reccomend.

Wonderful house

This is a really great house. They views are wonderful (we stayed there in the winter, so the lake was frozen over, by I am sure it would be also great for a summer stay) There are five floors, so if you have several couples sharing the house, it provides a great deal of privacy for everyone. Steinway piano in the living room is a very nice touch! Only 6 minutes away from Okemo (even less if you ski from Jackson Gore).
