Brand new house!
This is a new, comfortable house on a lovely little lake in a perfect Vermont town. There are canoes and kayaks and a small dock from which the launch. The kitchen is terrific and very well stocked with essentials. We had a lovely stay.

Wonderful
Gorgeous house in a beautiful location! It was comfortable and beautiful inside, and the large windows let you appreciate the lake without even going outside. It wasn't great weather so we didn't take advantage of the boats or dock.

Perfect house in a perfect location
We came with two other couples. The house was roomy enough for us all to be together to cook and relax. We had a problem with washing machine that was fixed within a day. The general store in Barnard was only a half a mile away. We found farms to buy fresh meats vegetables and breads and ice cream. Woodstock which is a charming little town is only 9 miles away

Amazing home on a beautiful lake
The house is wonderful, well decorated, comfortable and cozy. The views and different lights on the lake are so beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet. We loved the peacefulness, the available canoe and kayak, the possibility to swim, gaudious nature and hiking around. Woodstock is a pretty town nearby for going out.
And we loved the kitchen was so well equipped for real serious cooking 😘
Perfect stay. We would love to come back
Beautiful Location and super clean house! We loved being right on the lake and loved the views at sunrise and sunset, especially. Close to Woodstock and the little market right down the street on the corner is perfect for grabbing last minute items or ingredients for a quick dinner. Only issue was the king bed was actually two twin beds pushed together ( that wasn’t very securely put together.) Fun little game room with keyboard and great Wi-Fi.

Thank you again for this valuable information, as we always welcome the opportunity to improve. We hope to have another chance to impress you on a future stay!
Lovely waterfront property on beautiful Silver Lake. Recently built house. Greatly enjoyed the kayaks and canoe. Very friendly, helpful neighbors and local manager. First floor queen bed has to be moved away from side wall to allow access to both sides of bed. Then a bed post hits the ceiling fan.
Enjoyed our four week stay. Highly recommend.
This is a beautiful home, situated on one of our favorite Vermont lakes. We really appreciated having use of the canoe and kayaks. The views are spectacular.
The home was well-appointed and everything was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed our stay and plan on returning next time we're out this way--we have family in the area.
We noted the other review about the unconventional placement of the beds in a couple of the rooms and noticed that too. It wasn't a big issue for us. This is a fairly new rental--I'm sure they're still working a few things out. We highly recommend this property.
We really enjoyed our stay. The property was just as advertised and Silver Lake was absolutely gorgeous. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen was very well equipped, except there was no regular coffee maker. I think we may have been one of the first families to rent this property. I would recommend a dresser in each room because there was no place to put clothes. Also, more side tables and lamps for reading. We loved the sauna and enjoyed taking the canoe around the lake. We met some neighbors, and all were welcoming and friendly. All in all we were very pleased and would recommend this home very highly.
Great home with beautiful lake views! There's a tree swing looking out over the lake which is the perfect spot for a quiet moment at the beginning of the day. Our October trip provided the beauty of the leaves changing in addition to the lake for amazing scenery.
We appreciated the gas stove for cooking. There are plenty of cooking utensils - make sure to check out the hidden drawers if you can't find what you're looking for! If you're a coffee lover, a nespresso is available, but make sure to pack your own coffee - there was none pre-stocked for us and a lot of the shops close early.
The extra half bath is attached to the bonus room upstairs, making it perfect for the people sharing the king room to each have their own toilet space.
