The property was very comfortable and beautiful. The setting along the river was a treat as you drank a cup of coffee in the morning. We found the location convenient to all the sites in and around Woodstock. We loved it!

This was our first time in Vermont and we could not have chosen a better house to rent. Wow, what an amazing place! The location was perfect, a few minutes from Woodstock and a few minutes from everything else we wanted to do and although situated right on the road, the noise was minimal. The layout was perfect for us with the master bedroom on the top floor - it's a huge bedroom with a large. comfortable couch and bathroom with a tub - the second bedroom and bath with a shower on the ground floor and a very well appointed kitchen on the lower floor. The lower floor also has a dining area and living room area with a TV, but the real treat is the outdoor patio on the lower floor. It's spectacular! The patio overlooks the river and with the fire table, makes for an amazingly relaxing and comfortable setting for morning coffee or afternoon/evening drinks. The setting is incredible and we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Weekend ski trip

We loved our stay at this property. Cool, unique layout, lots of space, impressive master bedroom, amazing scenery with the river flowing literally behind the property. Great location in between Woodstock and Killington. Very helpful hosts and easy check in. Would definitely recommend

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay- the house was very clean and comfortable, seeing the river and being amongst the trees was so relaxing. The house is decorated well, serene and neat. The property owner was very responsive and communicative, we had no issues. East check in and out.

Charming home on the river

A friend and I stayed here for 3 nights while attending a wedding in nearby Woodstock. The home was exactly as advertised and as it appeared in photos. The deck overlooking the river was a particularly pleasant place to be in the evening. The owners communicated clearly and promptly and offered helpful suggestions regarding nearby restaurants, attractions, etc. We would gladly stay here again!

Beautiful, sunlit, cool house in a great area and over a river!

What else can you say beyond my title. Lovely, unique home on the riverside, just a few minutes away from great places in Woodstock, great skiing at Killington, and lots of restaurants and conveniences. Beautiful views and sunlight, and great communication from owners. Easy check in/checkout. Will likely be back, soon, if we can!

Relaxing river views

Super comfortable home! The layout is unique - we spent most of our time in the lowest level which had access to the patio. We hung out and grilled, listening to a variety of bird songs. River views were awesome especially after a heavy rain. The house is clean, calming, stylish, and well equipped. Respectful considerations - the location is perfect, you have everything you need within a 10m drive. That said, it's on a main road that does create some road noise, especially in the top floor bedroom and patio.
