The historic stone house in Montedivalli-Serra sits above a picturesque olive grove, where wine is also cultivated, just a short drive from the world-famous Cinque Terre. Guests can enjoy a spacious southwest-facing terrace with panoramic views over the enchanting Montedivalli valley and out to the sea, plus a second terrace on the upper floor, perfect for morning coffee or evening aperitifs. A fully equipped kitchen makes self-catering easy and comfortable. The Ligurian coast is only about 15 km away.
Montedivalli is made up of charming little hamlets scattered across the valley. In Montedivalli-Serra, olives and vines thrive, giving the area a timeless, authentic feel. The name La Serra means “the greenhouse,” and the fertile landscape truly lives up to it – herbs, fruit and vegetables flourish everywhere, making it a paradise for foragers and nature lovers. Nestled between Liguria and Tuscany, the location offers the best of both worlds: sandy beaches and the famous Cinque Terre are within easy reach, while the peace and freshness of the mountains provide the perfect retreat after a day of swimming, sightseeing or exploring.

Quiet peaceful mountain retreat

This property is incredibly well-equipped, providing everything we needed. Set in a very peaceful location, the outside deck offers a view of the most amazing sunsets. Additionally, it is conveniently located for access to Cinque Terre and provides an easy drive to Pisa Airport.

Tolles Haus

Das Haus war sehr sauber. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Insgesamt war es ein tolles Haus mit einer super Terrasse und vor allem ein super Ausblick bis hin zum Meer. Einzig die Anfahrt den Berg hinauf hat ein bisschen gestört. Das wussten wir allerdings ja im Voraus.

Mitten in der Natur

Wunderschönes Haus mit atemberaubenden Blick über die Berge über La Spezia. Das Haus liegt sehr abgelegen, wer kleine Straßen und Serpentinen hasst, sollte es nicht wählen :-) Aber in gut 10 min ist man unten und hat dann die Wahl zwischen vielen Aktivitäten die alle innerhalb einer Stunde möglich sind (Strand, städte wie Carrara, Sestri Levante oder Rapallo, Wandern um Cinque Terre oder im Gebirge rundum das Haus. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und sehr schön, auch zum selber kochen geeignet. Wir waren bei großer Hitze da, aber wenn man nachts alles auf und tagsüber alles zumacht, kriegt man das Haus gut kühl. Und abends im Liegestuhl auf der Terrasse sitzen und Sternschnuppen zählen ist die beste Entspannung die es gibt...

Fijn ruim vakantiehuis met mooie uitzichten

Fijn vakantiehuis, leuk ingericht, biedt veel ruimte, twee terrassen waarvan 1 met prachtig uitzicht, heerlijk rustige omgeving, goed uitgeruste keuken, alles schoon en netjes, goede bedden. Het huis is ook bij zomerhitte prima te ventileren waardoor het binnen niet te warm wordt. Goede informatie van verhuurder ontvangen en ook prettig contact met beheerster te plaatse. Auto is onmisbaar; Cinque Terre en andere mooie bestemmingen in de omgeving zijn goed te bereiken, maar reken wel steeds op z'n drie kwartier reistijd vanwege de kleine weggetjes. Wij hebben er een heerlijke week doorgebracht. Klein verbeterpunt: de douche zou erop vooruit gaan met het plaatsen van douchedeuren ipv een douchegordijn en de afvoer ruikt af en toe een beetje. Al met al een aanrader! 4,5 ster waard, ook ivm prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding

Traumhafte Lage und super ausgestattet!

Die Aussicht ist wirklich traumhaft! Welch ein Glück, so ein Häuschen zu finden..... Wir haben selten eine so gutausgestattete Küche vorgefunden: vom Spülmittel, Lappen, Zucker, Kaffee, Schneidemesser, Knoblauchpresse, Besen, Staubsauger...alles da. Bis auf eine Teekanne: könnte man noch anschaffen. Liebevoll eingerichtet. Bzgl. Einrichtung 1 Nachteil: das Zimmer unten hat keine Tür. Wenn oben jemand aufsteht, werden alle wach. 2 Außensitzecken - Luxus für ein Ferienhaus. Viel Spaß allen, die sich für dieses Haus entscheiden - wirklich empfehlenswert.

Vielen Dank für die nette Bewertung. Die Teekanne muss vor kurzem kaputt gegangen sein und wird ersetzt. Die Tür gibt es bereits seit einiger Zeit und wartet auf ihren Einbau, aber es schien uns nicht zwingend notwendig zu sein, weil das Zimmer in einem anderem Geschoss liegt und noch ein Durchgangszimmer davor ist und es bisher niemanden gestört hat. Aber jetzt werden wir den Einbau sobald wie möglich in Angriff nehmen.

Customer unfriendly

We were instructed to state the exact time we would arrive - no time range allowed. We drove for 8 hours with only one stop, experienced an hour stationary in Genoa tunnel because of traffic chaos. Luckily we arrived in time. No one there!! Note on the door from the manager – she had gone skating and we were to pick up the key from a neighbour. She said she had sent a txt but we didn’t receive it as we were in transit. Her note said she would call round ‘tomorrow afternoon’ so we stayed home not to miss her. 27 hours later, she arrived at 8.30pm as we were finishing dinner. We couldn’t make the tv work because there were no instructions, and the wifi was broken. Her husband had to fix it. I drew her attention to the microwave which had glass pie dish instead of a turntable and didn’t work properly, she shrugged and said ‘yes I know’. It also had a burn mark on rear inside wall. There was no plug in the sink so we couldn’t wash up – she said use the dishwasher – but there weren’t enough tablets for the week. There was no kettle, we had to use a saucepan. The bed mattress was hard foam, bottom of the range Ikea, 12cm thick. The two small pillows were hard rubber – we had to request more – another 24 hours while she sought approval from the owner. The CRT tv was decades old and no dvd player or any books, just a few dogeared magazines. The website says linens provided, but further down the page it contradicts and says you have to pay – yes you have to pay. You have to pay for gas too – I have never had this before. There was no welcome pack, no welcome note, no bottle of wine, or chocolates, fresh bread, flowers etc like other hosts. Just four pages of detailed instructions in German and English stuck on the wall on how to sort the rubbish between the 5 bins cluttering the kitchen – don’t make a mistake or you will be charged extra. Check out other critical reviews, the winding road is miles from the town and supermarkets. The garden is unkempt and unsuitable for children, the stairs down to the bottom bedroom are not stairs but a loft ladder dangerous for young children. Yes the view from the terrace is great – the customer service is a disaster - we left early to go to other accommodation.

Superschöne Lage am Berghang mit schönem Ausblick bis zum Meer.

Das Objekt liegt sehr ruhig und ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Uns fehlte es an nichts. Relativ langer Anfahrtsweg den Berg hinauf, der allerdings auf einem Stück gesperrt war, das aber trotzdem durchfahren werden musste.

Idyllische Lage, gute Ausstattung

Wir waren zwei Wochen zu zweit über Weihnachten in der Villa Garibaldino. Das Wichtigste zu dieser Jahreszeit: Man bekommt das Haus warm, das ist nicht immer der Fall. Die Villa liegt sehr schön in der toskanischen Landschaft. Man muss natürlich viel fahren, aber das haben wir gerne in Kauf genommen. Die Ausstattung war wie beschrieben, es hat nichts gefehlt, man kann gut kochen, das Internet funktioniert sehr gut!

Eine schöne Woche

Sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Sehr ruhige und schöne Umgebung. Das Haus ist mit allen notwendigen Dingen ausgestattet. Leider waren wir nur 1 Woche da nicht mehr frei war. Sehr gute Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter der auch jede Menge Empfehlungen vermittelt.

Excellent cottage, quiet, sufficient facilities and clean, well maintained. The views and location are first class. Excellent communication with owner and manager. We are satisfied, the only drawback was the location was a bit tricky to get to, due to condition of roads.

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr liebevoll mit Blick fürs Detail eingerichtet. Die Lage ist traumhaft schön, toller Blick von der schönen Terrasse in endlose Natur. Die Küche ist weit über den Standard eingerichtet (meiner Meinung nach fehlt nichts). Das Bad ist zweckmäßig, die übrigen Zimmer absolut ausreichend und hübsch eingerichtet. Uns haben Stuhlkissen auf den Metallstühlen auf der Terrasse gefehlt und ein zweiter Sonnenschirm auf der kleinen Terrasse vor dem Haus. Da das Ferienhaus abseits in den Bergen liegt war es gut, dass das Haus WLAN aufweist und wir dadurch Verbindung zur "Außenwelt" aufnehmen konnten :-). Für alle Naturliebhaber, die abschalten, Ruhe genießen und für sich sein wollen, ist dieses Haus ein Traum, es hat eine besondere Atmosphäre und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

CHARMING HOUSE WITH BEAUTIFUL VIEW

We spent two weeks at this fantastic place and it was a great time.The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. They created friendly atmosphere and great conditions for rest. The house has so much charm and character with a delightful terrace. We absolutely loved it. The house had literally everything you could possibly need and the kitchen is fully kitted out. We will definitely stay again and would recommend to others.

Ruhige Lage, viel Autofahren

Vom 1.Tag an haben wir uns im FH sehr wohl gefühlt und es lieb gewonnen (2 Erw. 2 Kinder (je 15J)). 14 Tage bei fast nur schönem Wetter eine Herberge, die wir gern als unsere angenommen haben. Für Sommertage jederzeit zu empfehlen. Rennradfahren ab FH sehr gut möglich. Es war alles wie im Inserat beschrieben. D.h. u.a. damit auch, die Lage mit sooo erholsamer Ruhe und herrlichem Blick wird mit viel Autofahrerei (wenn man was unternehmen will) erkauft. P. und Chris

Super Lage

Wenn man dem grauen Wetter entfliehen will und weite Ausblicke liebt, dann ist man hier richtig. Wir haben eine Woche hier verbracht und wären gerne länger geblieben. Das Haus ist hübsch eingerichtet und komfortabel ausgestattet. Es gibt so vieles zu entdecken, die romantischen Cinque Terre, La Spezia, Pisa, den phantastischen "Via dell'amore" und so vieles mehr, dass diese eine Woche viel zu kurz war und wir sicher wiederkommen werden.

Erholsam und Interessant

Das Haus hält was es verspricht. Individuell eingerichtet an wunderschöner Lage. Das Meer gut und schnell erreichbar. Wir haben uns gut erholt und einige spannende Entdeckungen gemacht. Markt in La Spezia. Die kleine Nudelfactory an der Abzweigung unten an der Provinzstrasse. Die Wanderwege der Region. Wir können diesen schönen Ort bestens weiter empfehlen.

Sehr behaglich

Wir waren eine Woche als Paar mit Hund in der Wohnung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, das Häuschen ist ausgesprochen behaglich und sehr gepflegt. Ich glaube, man kann da auch in Schlechtwetterperioden mit einem guten Buch sehr schöne Zeiten verbringen. Wobei wir jetzt Ende Oktober im Durchschnitt 20 °C tagsüber hatten, auch an den beiden Regentagen. Der Verwalter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Fazit: wirklich empfehlenswert!

Traumhafter Ausblick

Wir waren in der Villa Garibaldino vom 28.07.12 bis 04.08.12 und fanden diese Woche wunderschön. Die Idylle dort ist herrlich, die Lage inmitten der Olivenbäume einfach sagenhaft. Wer eine "typisch italienische" Unterkunft sucht ist hier genau richtig. Der oft genannte Ausblick von der Terrasse ist wirklich hinreißend. Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt absolut toll, das Haus ist sehr empfehlenswert. Gut möglich, dass wir wieder einmal den Weg dorthin finden :o).

Traumurlaub

Das Ferienhaus ist ein Traum. Ideal für Ruhesuchende! Alles entsprach der Beschreibung. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist traumhaft. Die Tips der Vermieterin waren sehr hilfreich. Besonders zu empfehlen ist die Trattoria"Il Boschetto"... Auch unser Hund hat sich beim Baden im Fluss wohl gefühlt. Die Gegend mit Orten wie Lerici,Tellaro, den Cinque Terre und Portovenere sind absolut sehenswert! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder !!!

Listening to the birds singing

The accommodation was beautiful; it had everything to make our stay wonderful. It was superb waking up in the morning listening to the birds singing and the garden was very peaceful. It had all the amenities anyone would need. I would highly recommend this fabulous home to anyone.

Beautiful located

Perfect place to stay for tuscany and liguria fans! The location near La Spezia is ideal for day-trips to Pisa, Genoa, Florence and the magnificent Cinque Terre. The two separate sleeping areas provided excellent space and privacy. We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house.

Nice and relaxing vacation

We stayed in the Villa Garibaldino in July 2012. It´s really a very good accommodation with a fantastic view from the terrace. It is a peaceful, harmonious place. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary things to cook. The appartment is very clean and nice. Surroundings are beautiful. Carlo and Silvana, the caretakers, are very friendly and helpful. Wonderful stay

Marvellous!

This was our best property during our three week stay in Italy. The caretaker Carlo and his wife were extremely friendly, helpful and accomodating for a family with children. The apartment is fully equipped with really anything you might need. A gorgeous and spacious house in impressive panoramic location. Excellent value for money.
