The condo had everything we needed. The space was a little tight for 3 adults and a dog, but having the balcony porch helped make it all work out wonderfully. It was lovely to have the view to the pond. The kitchen was sufficient for basic cooking/eating needs. Nice bathroom and comfortable beds, and good storage space for clothing in closet and drawers. The rental service was excellent, always available when we had a question. The location in Flat Rock was perfect, with nice eateries/restaurants and tourist sites (Carl Sandburg Museum/Home, hikes, waterfalls, etc.) nearby.

Thank you for the thoughtful review. We're so glad the balcony porch and pond view helped make the space work for your group, and that the comfortable beds and storage added to the stay. It's wonderful to hear the location in Flat Rock put you close to the Carl Sandburg Home, the hikes, and the waterfalls, and that our team was there whenever a question came up. We'd love to host you again whenever your travels bring you back.

Perfect for a weekend away !
Met expectations! Had everything we needed and was centrally located for attractions in the area !
Loved the beautiful outdoor views and the easy access to downtown and nearby attractions. Check in and out were seamless and our place was spotless and comfortable. Thank you so much!
We enjoyed our stay. The apartment is small but has everything you need. Updating some of the appliances like the coffee pot and toaster oven would be really great.Beautiful view of the lake!

Lakeview Balcony
We had a wonderful, quiet stay. The balcony was the highlight with a nice lakeview with my morning coffee and evening wine...and occasionally some wildlife spotting! The community is tucked away, but not far from amenities. Felt like a secluded getaway and was just what we needed. Thank you!
This property was perfect for our family of 4. We were in the beautiful king sized bed and our two young children on the pullout sofa. It was clean and included everything we needed for our weekend stay. The kids loved having s’mores in the firepit by the water surrounded by the beautiful fall foliage.

Mill House Hideaway
This is a lovely quiet location for relaxation. The unit overlooks the pool on one side and pond on the other. The unit was very clean and well equipped. Gorgeous little kitchen with everything you would need. The bed was comfy. The location is a short drive from restaurants, shops and hiking locations. Highly recommend!
We went up for a short family weekend getaway. The property is very nice with access to the pool and lake. Our boys loved the going out on the canoes on the lake. The apartment is nicely furnished with the basics. Kitchen is updated with a nice large fridge and nice stove/ oven. The king size bed was very comfortable, and our boys slept fine on the pull out sofa. We definitely enjoyed our stay and are already looking to come back!!
Enjoyed the views of the pond, canoeing, use of the pool and everyday walks across the street on the track around the pond at Bonclarken Conference Center. Would have appreciated using the laundry facility as promised in the rental agreement, however I was told by a "not so friendly"owner that was NOT ALLOWED!!

We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your visit! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your valuable feedback with us. We are sorry for any issues you encountered during your stay. We passed your comments along to our local manager to review and we appreciate guests’ preferences as a means to continually improve. We look forward to hosting your next stay!
The room was nice and cheerful. We did have a very bad problem with little ants in the kitchen, but maintenance came right away to fix the issue. BUT, the biggest issue was that the blinds in the bedroom are not two sets, so in order to close the window at night, you have to cover the air conditioning unit, which was not possible in order to have it on.Also, the middle set of blinds in the living room, over the air conditioner, was broken.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the cheerful atmosphere of the room and that our maintenance team responded promptly to address the ant issue in the kitchen. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the bedroom blinds and the broken middle set of blinds in the living room. Your comments are very important to us, and we will be sure to pass this information along to our local team so they can look into these issues and work on improving the guest experience. We hope you'll give us a second chance to impress you.
We will go back again. I recommended to anyone but we couldn't handle the smoke cigarettes from the next door. We did not enjoy the balcony which is very nice. You need specific place at the property for people who smoke. When.we got there the floor was very thirty i cleaned it with a little towel. Beautiful property it need some repair outside specially the stairs the handles are thirty and need to go please, because people can fall down they are checking parking lot need be mark the alarm went up for no reason but good job.in the inside i will be back
The GPS that I was giving in email was totally wrong. After sitting outside someone’s home I finally had service to pull up site on line to get correct directions I had extremely hard time in getting key out of box after being told could get in early. We arrived at 3pm, but code was inaccurate due to early check in. What was unsettling was the support person was not very concerned with us having to hold to get in. My husband is a disabled veteran and he was definitely ready to sit down. Apt was nice wished it had been on 1st floor due to poor railings getting up for him. Not ADA friendly.
This condo was exactly what we wanted: located on a second floor corner overlooking the pool, with a balcony on the other side providing a lake view. The one-bedroom unit is compact and comfy, with a well-supplied galley kitchen (no dishwasher, but not a deal breaker).
It was very clean, check-in was a breeze, and Vacasa was very responsive to a couple of minor concerns. Plus it's conveniently located in Flat Rock, which has several restaurants and the Carl Sandburg offerings, and is an easy drive to numerous Hendersonville and Asheville attractions. The perfect place for a fun and relaxing four-day mountain getaway.
