Parking is a nightmare as it's down a slope.
Heating - control by owner. So if it's still cold, it's tough luck as that's what you are given.
Log given by the fireplace, we were told will warm up the place. But the logs only last five minutes as they are twigs rather than logs. Bedroom with twin beds, one is short, so if you are 5 foot or more, your legs will be sticking out. Kitchen utensils and cooking pots are awful.
Shower only in master bedroom, so it's lucky we are family. Furniture in lounge smell of body oil.
Will not stay again!

Response from VrboOwner on 26 July 2023
Hello, this booking was during a particularly warm time, so the owner set the heating on low. Although he increased it as soon as you requested. Thank you for the feedback concerning the kitchen utensils and pots, we
will ensure these are reviewed and replaced where necessary. We are sorry for that experience, we would like the opportunity to prove to you the best of our services, should you book with us in the future.
Kind regards,
Interhome group.

Highland family vacation
The house was beautiful. It is rather remote, which we wanted; but the key to get in the house did not work. There was no one close to help us. After we tried and tried to use the key, it finally worked. Must of been jammed.
Also, the directions to find this place are not very good. My son finally figured them out .
I suggest checking into this place when the local office is open, because the main office people do not have a clue what is going on with that cottage.
But once we got in and settled we loved it. The only complaint is we kept running out of hot water. Even with the extra hot water setting, was still not enough for 5 adults to all take a bath and /or a shower.
All and all it is a great house. Would go back.
