About this property

Birch Cabin-2 Min to Lakes/Snowmobile trails

Enjoy a quite stay on a wooded lot in the heart of cottage country! The cabins are conveniently located within a short walking distance to the lovely town of Dorset, Kawagama Lake and Lake of Bays. The scenic lookout tower, hiking, snowmobiling and ATV trails are all at our doorstep! In town you can find restaurants on the water, Robinson`s General Store and an LCBO. Come swim in the pristine waters, fawn over the fall colours or go for a rip on your snowmobile. It`s all here!

Please Note: If only 2 people will be staying and you plan to use both bedrooms there is an additional $25/night fee for the extra linens and cleaning fees.
Maple Creek Cabins is quiet, clean and cozy. Chill out around your own campfire or cook up some dinner on your private use BBQ.
Let our crisp white bedding and oxygen-rich air lull you to sleep under a star-filled sky. Keep it simple with a bowl of cereal or cook up a comfort food feast.

You have the cabin all to your self as well as your own private fire pit, picnic table and BBQ. The wooded area at the back is private and for our treehouse guest’s exclusive use.

I have a house on the property and am happy to help.

The property is off a quiet street with 2.5 acres of privacy. There are forests of old grand maple trees. Chipmunks, squirrels , woodpeckers and raccoons all living in harmony. There are deer, wolves and sometimes bear and moose but not as likely to be seen on the property.

It is a 15 minute walk/2 min drive to town, swimming, restaurants, fitness center, boat rental, art, spa, pottery, yoga and much more!
First and foremost we want you to come and enjoy yourselves in this magical neck of the woods! However, we do have some rules:
Absolutely NO SMOKING in the cabin. Butts must be put into a container outside.
Smoke what you like, just do it outside please. :)

No wax candles.

We do not charge a cleaning fee and ask guests to take responsibility for washing your dishes and cleaning the BBQ after use.
If things got messy while cooking, dining, or spills in the fridge, please give surfaces a wipe down. Your help allows us to keep the cabin prices a bit lower!

We ask that guests keep noise to a minimum after 11pm out of respect for the squirrels (and neighbours).

Please DO NOT leave any garbage out at night as it will attract racoons, bears and other nighttime opportunists.

We would be grateful if you dropped your garbage off at the local dump on the way out of town as we do not have garbage pick up here. It is only 1 km from the cabins and a pretty drive in.

If you require bedding for the futon there is an additional $20 fee to be paid when you arrive. You also have the option to bring your own double/full set.

We only host to people who are 21 or older. this excludes children who are accompanied by adults.

Campfires must be supervised at all times and doused with water when finished. NO FIRES BEFORE 7PM before November 1st.

It is important to disclose the accurate number of guests. Any last minute changes to the guest count must be approved. Exceeding the guest limit capacity can lead to a cancellation of the entire booking.
The same if you show up with a pet.

Enjoy your visit :)
