The space features a well equipped kitchen with eat-at island, comfortable queen bed and all white bathroom. Guests can adjust the temperature easily with air conditioning and heating, ensuring comfort no matter the season. Bright and inviting, the apartment offers a cozy retreat after a day of work or exploring.

Be in the heart of the Eastern Market neighborhood; 1-block off Barracks Row, 2-blocks to the Metro (Blue, Orange, Silver lines). Walk to the Capitol and Library of the Congress. You are within easy reach of everything the Nation's Capital has to offer.

Being on the Property

The loft has a private garden entry. Six steps lead to the brick paved garden; spiral up to the deck entrance of the loft. Once inside, a bright full kitchen, chic sleeping alcove, cozy sitting area with a dedicated work desk welcomes you.

The space has lofty sloped ceilings, large windows with operable Venetian blinds for sunlight and shade control. Modern strip wood flooring flows throughout. Windows give views to a tree dominated garden, and tree lined streets over an alley.

The sleep space has a queen bed and ample hanging and storage furniture, is adjacent to an all-white accented bathroom. Your kitchen has an eat-at island bar for breakfast or dine-in meals. Take coffee or drinks in good weather, at the bistro set on the entry deck.

Your studio is professionally managed and cleaned for a fresh welcoming experience.

The carriage house studio is a great place to stay in Capitol Hill historic area of D.C. you can walk to Trader Joe’s, cafes, and restaurants. I was able to walk to a conference held at the Library of Congress. The studio is laid out perfectly and very clean. The bed is super comfy. And the gardening in the back is delightful. I would definitely stay again!
