We had a terrific time. Decor is a little outdated but very comfortable accommodation for 2. Great location for walking to restaurants and bars. Owners were very nice and great communicators.

It's not a true houseboat, it's a cabin cruiser. It's old and needs a deep cleaning, and some TLC. The inside had a very musty odor, the entrance doors were difficult to operate and to lock. There was no written escape plan should there be an emergency to exit, especially at night. The two ceiling hatches were covered so we would be unable to escape from there. They did have fire extinguishers on sight. The description did not include the stairways to get to the dock. The stairs and walkway were very uneven. The area was well lit but anyone with a bad leg or back would have difficulty entering the dock, as well as the entrance to the boat. We were informed about the issue boarding the boat on the day of our arrival which is bad timing, since it would be difficult to find another place to stay at such short notice. This should be written up on your VRBO sight for this particular rental. Sorry to say, but we would not be interested in renting this VRBO again.
