We had an amazing getaway. Gary is such an awesome host. Excellent communication. We actually added in another day. The place is calm and so much to see there. The cottage was cozy and offers a beautiful design of space. Love the fireplace, great for a rainy day. Maggie our dog, simply loved it, also. She loved her walks and seeing the marina there from our wicker chairs. Such a beautiful place . Definitely will be back !! Thank You !!!

We are an elderly couple and spent a few days at the beach and this small cottage was perfect. The keypad entry was very easy and thanks for the season pass to the beach. Thanks also for the extra beach chairs since one of ours broke. The interior decorating was fine except everything seemed to be designed for giants: the very high bed and the tall chairs. The dining room chairs were high tops but sturdy and made good luggage racks. To get dressed and put on our shoes, we had to sit on the sofa. Regular height chairs would help. The listing stated it was for 3 people so I enquired about the second bed. It turns out they meant for a baby in a crib, not 3 adults, but we rented it anyway. We needed 2 beds and found the sofa uncomfortable for sleeping. I would suggest replacing the sofa with a fold-out sofa bed which would greatly increase your flexibility for renters. The kitchen was more than perfect, a gourmet stove, huge professional sink and big refrigerator, 3 coffee makers, lovely. I wouldn't call it well-stocked, however, only a few extra K-Cups. However, we've mostly rented in Europe where you find salt, pepper, oil, maybe vinegar and other dry goods. Of course, I have my usual suggestion of more towel racks (there were none) and hooks in the bathroom (one small hook behind the door). Also it could use soap in the shower and a full-length mirror. In spite of all these suggestions, it was very good and we enjoyed it immensely. Thanks!

Gary was an amazing host and was extremely fast in communicating to every question we had during our whole stay. Was surprised by the access to all the perks offered in the space, such as ample air conditioning and a full kitchen. Great location for a quick drive to anything around Highlands, and especially to the beaches in Sandy Hook.
