One Of a Kind 'Waterfront ' Dream house "

House is located in a private family run compound. This luxury 3br/2bath, spacious cottage has spectacular water views from every room. The master bedroom has a private deck to enjoy with views across the river to Gateway National Park and Sandy Hook Bay. The unit has hardwood floors, furnished with a queen-sized beds. The kitchen is brand new with custom cabinets, new microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator icemaker. The Living room has a sofa sleeper and the Dining room can accommodate 10 people, with 3 additional counter seats in kitchen. Backyard is the Shrewsbury River with fishing off our private dock. Walking distance to local park, beach, museum, restuarant, and nightlife.

Amazing location

We had the best time at this property. It was very spacious and comfortable. We loved the location. It was close to the beach, restaurants, etc. We really enjoyed walking to get ice cream at night. I highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Host was very responsive. House was equipped with essential items. I would recommend cleaning bedroom carpets, replacing the metal mini blinds, replacing living room couch & replacing front door handle (lock gets stuck). We did have to park on the street a few times as there weren’t any spots left in the two parking lots.

July 4th Family Vacation

Beautiful house on the water in an unbeatable location. Short walk over the bridge to free uncrowded beaches. Multiple restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk. Great evenings sitting in the Adirondack chairs on the river watching the boats go by. Can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful Views All Around

We stayed for a weekend at this gorgeous home right on the water. The home is warm and very inviting. Gary was a wonderful host and very responsive to any questions that we had. There are many restaurants within walking distance and Sandy Hook is a short drive away! We plan to come back again soon!

Fantastic views

We (my husband, my adult children and I) stayed for the weekend for my nephew's wedding in the area. The house was clean and had a lot of room to spread out. The weather was not the best so we were unable to enjoy the outside space, but what a view! We would definitely stay there again. We truly enjoyed the house.

Long weekend by the water

I had been looking forward to this long end of summer weekend by the water and our visit did not disappoint! The house was just as advertised, clean and included everything you could possibly want. The views were amazing, and location easy to get to bars and restaurants. Host were responsive, really just a great stay and we can’t wait to go back!

Better than pictured!

I’ve never stayed in a rental property where the reality exceeded the photos. This is the first one. We really enjoyed our weekend at the shore. So close to Sandy Hook we could ride our bikes over the bridge and down to the shore.
