Perched directly on the Scituate coastline, Seaside Oceanfront Retreat is the rare property where you wake up to salt air, fall asleep to the rhythm of the waves, and never once have to get in a car to reach the water. Egypt Beach is a 60-second walk from your front door. The lighthouse, the harbor, five beaches in total - all within minutes.

Inside, the home is built for groups who actually want to be together. The open-concept kitchen and living area means the cook isn't exiled from the conversation, and with four bedrooms - including a king suite with direct ocean views -- there's room to spread out without anyone feeling like they drew the short straw. After a day on the water, the soaking tub earns its keep.

Outside is where the magic happens. The waterfront deck, the grill, the unobstructed horizon -- there's nothing between you and the Atlantic. Watch the boats drift past the harbor. Time the sunset from your chair. Realize you haven't checked your phone in three hours.

Scituate isn't the Cape. It's quieter, more local, and better for it. This is a working harbor town with real seafood, a historic lighthouse, and a coastline that doesn't feel manufactured for tourists. If you want the ocean experience without the Route 6 traffic, you've found it.

Egypt Beach is 60 seconds away on foot. Minot, Sand Hills, Peggotty, and the iconic Scituate Lighthouse are all within a 10-minute radius. Guests who stay here don't pick one beach for the week. They sample all of them, and each one offers a different experience of the same stunning coastline.

Central air conditioning means August heat waves are optional. The in-unit washer and dryer means a week-long stay doesn't require a week's worth of luggage.
