The Space:
Immerse yourself in nature as you embark on an unforgettable retreat at this woodland cabin overlooking the scenic Toccoa River.
Step onto any of the decks and lose yourself in a world of relaxation, accompanied by the soothing symphony of birdsong and flowing water. Whether you are grilling on the open deck, lounging on the covered deck in the hanging basket chairs, or soaking in the hot tub on the lower deck, each space offers its own slice of paradise with a touch of serenity and bliss.
Inside the second level, the living area beckons with a wood-burning fireplace, perfect for gatherings around the flickering flames. Dive into your favorite movie on the large flat screen TV, or explore a myriad of streaming services for entertainment. The fully equipped kitchen invites culinary adventures, with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a reverse osmosis filter for the well water. In addition to the dining table, multiple options are available to enjoy casual meals, including a raised bar in the kitchen, outdoor seating on the decks.
When the time is right, retreat to one of the two master suites, each with a queen bed and offering a unique blend of privacy, comfort, and sanctuary. The second-level suite provides easy access to the upper covered deck with views of the river through the trees. Indulge your senses in the large bath with the walk in shower, or a two-person soaking tub with views to the adjacent forest.
The top level bedroom offers views through the forest canopy with glimpses of the river below and bird and wildlife antics in the tree tops. Add in a private bath with walk in shower, and you have a recipe for a relaxing end to the many outdoor adventures that are available. Finally, this suite has a separate loft area with a small library and seating for two.
Lastly, the ground level offers multiple options for entertainment and amusement. The three season rec room features a queen sleeper sofa, wet bar/kitchenette (mini-fridge, microwave, sink), a half bath, a large table, games, and good times, including a large screen TV, multiple board games, and a ping pong table.
Outside on the covered deck, soak in the hot tub while watching the river flow slowly by. To the side is the fire pit area, where evenings come alive with crackling flames and good times under the stars. Anglers will delight in the opportunity to test their skills on-site in the trout fishing stream.
For the adventurous, your retreat on the river is loaded with nearby options all within 30-45 minutes or less. Activities include waterfalls, hiking, whitewater rafting, tubing, kayaking, horseback riding, golf, and fine dining at the Old Toccoa Farms. Or explore the Blue Ridge Lake Recreational Area. Cute cabin on the river! While it was a nice atmosphere, the river was not really viewable from the home nor is it accessible to get into. The home had basic pots and pans for cooking, but no extras like spices or foil that you find in some vacation spots. They are doing renovations to the basement area which we did not use, but looks like it will be a nice hangout spot. We ended up not using the hot tub and it didn't look like it had been used much recently. We only used one of the bedrooms and the bed was very comfortable. There isn't a way to block out light in the main floor bedroom unless you close the curtains on the outdoor porch - which wouldn't have been a big deal if not for the spiders. I understand in the woods/mountains there are bugs, there was a HUGE amount of large spider webs all over the home, to the point of making use of the outdoor space limited. Please note that the road to the home is gravel, and as we found out if it rains heavy will wash out in spots so I would suggest a vehicle that sits up a little higher than your average sedan. Overall, I do feel like the property was a good value and would consider it if traveling back to the area. It was a perfect central location to Blue Ridge, McCaysville, and lots of nature trails.

Great Location and comfortable home
This was the perfect location for my husband and grandsons guys weekend away. They enjoyed the house, the trout right out the back door and the location.
We enjoyed this quiet, peaceful stay right on the Toccoa River. Our favorite place, when my husband wasn’t fishing, were the swinging porch chairs, overlooking the river. The house and beds were comfortable.
Really enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the river go by. Beautiful views!

Wildwood retreat
Another great stay this cabin is our go to when coming to Blue Ridge. It’s close to all the downtown activities. We love how it’s off the beaten path and there is plenty of wildlife to see! We will be booking this cabin again in the future!

Great Getaway
This beautiful home was perfect for our weekend getaway! The home is well appointed and super cozy. We loved being right on the river and the location is very secluded. We will definitely reserve this lovely home again!
This is our second time staying at this beautiful cabin. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing getaway, then this is your place! We love sitting on the deck enjoying the sounds of the Toccoa River. The cabin is very private with a well stocked kitchen and super comfy beds. WE will definitely book again!
Absolutely wonderful long weekend spent with friends. Enjoyed floating the Toccoa River several times (about an hour from property to Horseshoe Bend). Everything was as advertised and the house was very clean. Had difficulty connecting tv to the wifi, but who cares when you are sitting in paradise. We will definately stay here again if the opportunity arises
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a much needed getaway for rest and relaxation. The house was just about perfect. We enjoyed fishing in the river, reading a book in the balcony hanging basket chairs, having a fire in the fire pit, and the hot tub on chilly nights. The only downside at first was the very bumpy rough road to get there but, after the first view rides, we got used to it. Would definitely stay again.

I absolutely loved the cabin it was very nice. The front yard near the river definitely needs to be cleared off some more. I had no problems getting there. I definitely recommend.
