About this property

Great house with beautiful (sundowner) view

Our vacation home is a perfect place for families and smaller groups. Terrace and pool offer absolute privacy and a wonderful view. Sundowner on the terrace, that is pure relaxation for us. The rooms are divided into two wings and thus offer privacy and ample space even in the house. Living room and kitchen and the terrace directly in front of it are the ideal places to spend time together, to chill, to play. Around the heated pool you will find sunbeds with places for shade and sunbathing. From Cigalon (that's how we christened our house...) you can make trips to Avignon, Nimes, Orange as well as trips to the nearby rocks on the Cèze (cliff jumping - if you want), canoe trips on the Ardèche, cycling and hiking tours in the Gard. A trip to the sea is also worthwhile if you want a little more tourist hustle and bustle again (yes, that can be nice too...). In the surrounding villages you will find nice restaurants (e.g. in Goudargues) and of course everything for your daily needs. Our favorite is the small, nice store in St. Marcel de Careiret. Everything there, super close - and vacation shopping too...! What do I mean?? Just try it out...;-).

The house is a non-smoking house. You can smoke on the terrace, but be careful w/ fire hazards (cigarette butts must be disposed of correctly!!). Thank you very much already!

What else is important to know...?
We use the house ourselves a few weeks a year and have many personal items in the house. Basically, everything that is directly accessible is also at her/your disposal. We thank you in advance for a careful handling.
Since we do not live in France, we have good friends on site who take care of everything (reception, handing over the keys, final cleaning (please sweep clean from your side and put back furniture if necessary), pool, garden, ...). Otherwise it would not be feasible.

If you have any questions, we are of course at your disposal (before the vacation, but also during it). We answer questions very gladly and usually very quickly. Tips we have laid out in the house - but we can also help in advance.

Since we have only recently started renting our dream, we very much hope that our taste also meets their / yours and it is also some wonderful, relaxing time away from everyday life.

little paradise

We had a wonderful week in Cigalon, as the house is called. This place is just amazing, and especially the spectacular view! Everything you need is there, good kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, lots of space for everyone. We were lucky with the weather, so we could use the swimming pool a lot. You actually don't have to leave the house and terrace... but, there is some nice sightseeing to do; Nimes, Pont du Gard, lovely market in Goudargues, Avignon. Communication with Torsten went very smoothly. Susanne was there to welcome us, she was just so friendly. All in all: highly recommended!

wij hebben genoten van een zalige vakantie in een fantastisch mooi huis ! Iedereen van de familie, kleinkinderen, kinderen en opa en oma hebben genoten.Het uitzicht van op het terras is zo mooi, en het zwembad zo zalig bij de toch zeer warme dagen die we hebben gehad. Ook de rivier Cèze, met zijn watervallen,en kanovaren was zalig..Een zeer mooie streek om te verkennen.Alles was top, ook het gastvrij ontvangst door Suzanne en Martin. Zeker en vast een aanrader !!!Kris

Een Paradijs voor ons gezin en onze honden

Onze vakantie van tien dagen met ons gezin van zeven personen en twee honden was werkelijk fantastisch. We verbleven in het prachtige huis Cigalon dat alles bood wat we nodig hadden voor een relaxte en onvergetelijke tijd. Het huis zelf was ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. We hebben genoten van het heerlijke zwembad waar wij en de kinderen dagelijks in zwommen, badmintonden en ballen gooiden, en ook de tafeltennistafel was een grote hit. Onze avonden brachten we door met gezellige BBQ's in de tuin, waarbij we adembenemende zonsondergangen hebben gezien. Onze buren waren bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam, toen een van onze honden zoek was.. Voor onze boodschappen gingen we naar de Lidl in Bagnols-sur-Cèze, een mooie winkel met een ruim aanbod aan verse groenten en fruit. We hebben een dagtrip naar zee gemaakt en bezochten een speciaal hondenstrand naast Pampa Plage in La Grande-Motte. Daarnaast brachten we ook een bezoek aan de markt in Pont-Saint-Esprit. Hier hebben we heerlijke kaasjes, olijven en honing gekocht. Kortom, deze tien dagen waren een perfecte mix van ontspanning, avontuur en kwaliteitstijd met het gezin. We kijken met veel plezier terug op deze vakantie en zouden deze plek aan iedereen aanraden die op zoek is naar een rustige en natuurrijke vakantie met het gezin en hun huisdieren. Het was een onvergetelijke ervaring die we nog lang zullen koesteren.

Sehr schönes grosses Haus. Alles da was man braucht. Wunderbare Aussicht. Bei Fragen war der Besitzer jederzeit erreichbar. Einziger Nachteil die Entfernung von Restaurants und Geschäften.
