Two Hundred Acre Wood sleeps up to 8 guests across four spacious bedrooms with room for more on a sleeper sofa in the game room and a charming loft featuring a beautifully restored antique Chinese bed. Four full bathrooms and one half bathroom serve the home comfortably. There are two luxurious soaking tubs to relax in and beautifully tiled walk in showers. Every bedroom is individually air-conditioned, ensuring peaceful nights after long days spent exploring the property or the surrounding Catskills.



The heart of the home is an extraordinary 2,000-square-foot great room. Featuring a stunning kitchen with a chef quality gas range, you can create any meal you might dream up. There is a generous dining space with a table for twelve, and inviting lounge areas with art and music intertwined in the space. It's where everyone naturally comes together to cook memorable meals, share stories over wine, or simply enjoy each other's company beneath soaring 35’ ceilings. The downstairs family room has a billiards table and cozy couches for lounging in.



Just off the great room, a 600-square-foot deck extends the living space directly into the landscape. The Neighborhood:

The Catskills surrounding Two Hundred Acre Wood offer some of the most beloved landscapes, culinary destinations, and creative communities in the Northeast. The village of Phoenicia, just 15 minutes away, is a favorite: excellent breakfast spots, local shops, and tubing and fly fishing on the Esopus Creek make it perfect for a leisurely morning or afternoon. Also within a 15 minutes drive are some of the region's most celebrated galleries, boutiques, farm-to-table restaurants, live music, and an arts culture that has drawn creative people from around the world for generations. For hikers, the Mount Tremper and Ashokan Rail Trail trailheads are within easy reach, offering everything from accessible forest walks to serious summit climbs. Belleayre Mountain is nearby for skiing in winter, and Hunter Mountain is approximately 30 minutes away. The area's farms, orchards, and local markets make it easy to stock up on exceptional provisions for cooking in the chef's kitchen. Getting Around:

Two Hundred Acre Wood is about 2 hours from New York City and guests can travel around by car as it is a rural area with limited public transportation. The main routes to access the town are the NY Thruway (87) to Route 28, or the Taconic State Parkway to 9G and 199.



In the winter, we recommend a car with four-wheel drive that can handle the snow and gravel roads.



Other Things to Note:

The house can comfortable accommodate up to 12 guests. There is a lofted day bed outside of the primary BR, and a pull-out couch in the basement. Guests need additional approval for any guests beyond the 8 listed capacity.



There is a meditation cabin on the property; please reference the map on the property guidebook. About 800 feet west of the pool is a small meditation cabin, offering a quiet retreat surrounded by nature. While there is no electricity or running water, a serene seated Buddha awaits to accompany your moments of reflection and meditation.There is no running water or power, but it is peaceful.
