The owner is very fortunate to have grown up in such a fine house. It reminds me of my grandmother's little white cottage in the country where I spent many a pleasant summer day. The design and construction of this cottage was very thoughtfully done. There are idyllic views from each and every window, as well as the porches. The kitchen and dining area is spacious, as are the bedrooms. I spent a good deal of time sitting in the tremendously comfortable living room just staring out at the fall foliage. The seating is guaranteed to make you lazy! The beds are new and comfortable and the water pressure is good, too. Unlike some of the "fake granny" places I've seen on travel websites where a rental management company attempts to give a place charm with a lot of kitsch here and there, this place is the real deal. You can tell that this was a loving home for decades and looks as if Granny popped out to do some shopping and will be back any minute. It just feels like home. In fairness to those who might be averse to such, there can be a good deal of traffic noise outdoors, but I wouldn't let that stop me from staying at this wonderful place again.
