Superior 4****Apt, direct access, no steps, great views, quiet area, fast WiFi

Our Millennium Haus flat is modern, light and airy (64 sq. m.) and unlike many flats offered in Zermatt, has DIRECT road access - NO long flights of stairs to climb! Built in 2000 it is in a quiet location with uninterrupted views south to the Matterhorn from the bedroom, living room & terrace. 'Talk about a room with a view-this is terrific!' wrote a guest, we are a 5 minute walk (2 minute by taxi) from the Sunnegga lift.

Fresh Bread Service in the morning!

Just call Biner Bakery the previous evening before 6pm; Gipfeli are delivered for free (the delivery) directly at home!

The spacious modern living area includes a large sofa bed plus cable HDTV, DVD, CD stereo, the dining area has a large circular table and it has a fully fitted kitchen with all amenities including a dishwasher.
The bedroom has a double bed with lots of storage and the bathroom has a combined bath and a shower to wake you up! Heating for the apartment is under floor. In addition, the house has a ski room with boot drier . Outside is a large south (Matterhorn)facing patio area with table and chairs and lawn. For those who need to stay in touch, we have a fast broadband WiFi connection incl.

Non Skiers, Poor Days...: Zermatt is a fantastic skiing resort with hundreds of kilometres of skiing in Zermatt, Cervinia and Valtournenche. But it also has good facilities for non skiers - most of the mountain pathways are kept fully open in Winter so walkers can arrange to meet the skiers at your favourite restaurant! There is indoor swimming, outdoor skating and curling rinks as well as tobogganing - great fun when the weather is a bit iffy! Plus a village which offers historic walks daily, an Alpine Mountain Museum and take a horse drawn carriage tour.

You can now buy a ski pass which allows you to take days off!

Restaurants and Apres Ski: We know of no other resort with such a wide variety of excellent restaurants both on and off the mountain, Zum See has been voted best mountain restaurant and many others offer a fantastic variety of mouth-watering menu's. The hamlet of Findeln just below Sunnegga offers many great little stubli's such as Franz & Heidi's, Chez Vrony, Paradies, Reid etc. - you will not be disappointed.

In the evening Zermatt has scores of excellent venues for eating Swiss traditional fare plus French, Italian, Mexican, Thai, Japanese, Greek etc. and after your meal there’s an excellent places such as the Pollux, Moods, Elsie’s and the Pink Elephant often with live music.

The Telegraph sums it up in its Ski Supplement (8th October 05) 'Best mountain restaurants in the world, which explains the lack of will to ski after lunch. Lunch in Chez Vrony, Zum See or any other of a dozen other mountain restaurants is a gastronomic experience without parallel.

Perfect home. This vrbo was so comfortable, had the most amazing view and check in/out was so easy. We are a family of 4 and each had their own beds which were comfortable and the temperature was perfect! It’s all about the view!

We came to Zermatt to see the Matterhorn, and see it we did from every room and every light! We especially enjoyed the spacious terrace. The view is even more beautiful than pictured in listing.

We had a wonderful time at this apartment. It is has good size for 2 people, is very clean, very quiet and all new. The view to the Matterhorn from the terrace is second to none. The owner was very responsive and helpful with all questions we had. Several excellent restaurants are only a few minute walk away. We can only recommend this place and hope to be back soon.

Lovely space for Zermatt. A little of an uphill walk from center city but worth the effort because you have a back patio and straight on view of the Matterhorn! Would come back again. Pillows were a little too flat for our tastes but not a big deal,

A fantastic base for exploring Zermatt

A beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean apartment with fantastic views of the Matterhorn. The kitchen contains all the mod cons you could need. Bed is very comfortable and there is also a lovely large bath. The owners are very helpful and provide a very informative guide to the area. All in all 10/10 - excellent value for money.

We stayed in this apt in late July of 2016. The apt is up the hill from the train station about 15min walk. The unit is very modern and well appointed. It has wonderful large doors that open to a fantastic patio with a amazing view of the Matterhorn and valley. The owner was very good about helping us reach the apt and followed up frequently to make sure we were having a good stay. We would love to return and stay for a much longer time

This apartment is an absolute dream! The host, Marion, had sent a 'welcome package' to us a few months prior to our arrival with all the information one would need to enjoy their time in Zermatt. A couple of days prior to our arrival Marion called to ensure that any questions were answered for us to enjoy our stay in Zermatt.The apartment is in a quiet residential area, but with several restaurants just a few minutes walk and the train station easily accessible. Although we were only in Zermatt for a few days, this apartment was perfect for our first visit to the region.The view from the patio of the Matterhorn is breathtaking, especially on a clear morning as the sun just breaks over the mountains and the Matterhorn's snow covered summit glistens in a golden tone.A 'special' treat during our stay was to sit on the patio enjoying the view and to be welcomed to the neighborhood by a local cat, who sat in the garden and enjoyed the early evening view just as much as we did!

This apartment was perfect for our adventure in Zermatt. Marion was extremely helpful and had great communication from booking to checking out. It was a short walk from all the wonderful restaurants and shops in town. The apartment itself was very spacious for just two people. The bed was very comfortable and the living area was a great, relaxing place to be. The kitchen and bathroom were spotless and offered everything necessary. The view from the patio was stunning. My wife and I spent every evening sitting at the table outside soaking in that view. Such beauty in Zermatt. When traveling to Zermatt again, this will be our only choice in lodging. Fantastic Town, Fantastic Apartment.

I've stayed at this apartment twice and just CANNOT FAULT IT. It's a very comfortable, modern, clean apartment that instantly makes you feel at home. It's quiet, spacious and has a view to die for. As for the rental process - no problems whatsoever. Keys are picked up and dropped off locally. The owners are easily contactable by email and are very helpful in all information that they offer. Great time

I stayed 4 nights at Millennium with my 2 sons (20 and 13) in early December. This was a special trip to wrap up my older son's study abroad semester. We were really enjoyed our time and were very comfortable at Millennium. The apartment was very clean, nicely furnished and the kitchen well stocked. The view of the Matterhorn from the patio was incredible. While up a hill, the apartment is an easy walk from train, town and ski lifts. The boys took the Gornergrat train up for skiing and were the first on the slopes. The views from Gornergrat are the most spectacular I have ever seen. This was a special trip for us and we would love to return someday.

Great Views!

If you are looking for a great view of the city and the Matterhorn, this is a great place to stay. The property is spotless and incredibly clean. Marion was always very quick to respond to any request. The apartment was close enough to walk to town and enjoy the walk. We also took a great hike from the Randa train station to the World's Longest Pedestrian Suspension Bridge. It's a true hike up almost 1000 meters elevation gain but well worth it. I appreciated the space and how comfortable we felt there. The internet was great. We couldn't get the TV to work but that wasn't a big deal. More beauty to see there than the TV. Thanks Marion!

High quality stay in Zermatt

Mark and Silvia's apartment was a terrific place for us to spend two weeks in Zermatt. It is of very high quality with heated floors, very fast internet, satellite TV, a modern kitchen (with dishwasher, oven, microwave, ventilation), a large-sized bathtub (fantastic for soaking after a full day of skiing) and facilities for drying and storing your ski boots. The bedroom was very comfortable with a cozy Swiss feel, and there was ample room for storing all of our clothes/ski stuff. Plus, both the bedroom and the living room have a fantastic view of the Matterhorn (the picture shown is from the living room angle). There is no access to the laundry facilities in the building, but if you're only staying for a week, it shouldn't be a problem. Walking wise, the apartment is about a 7-10 minute walk from the center of Zermatt and it's a bit up the hill, but we didn't mind walking the route as it gave us some extra exercise and it was totally worth it for the view. My husband and I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it for other couples.

Millenium House rental!

We stayed at the Millenium House apartment for our recent girls ski vacation. It was fantastic! It was furnished with everything you will need...great views and close proximity to the lifts and downtown. Wireless internet allowed us to easily stay in touch with out families. The apartment was spotless, very modern and had a great layout. If there was anything we needed, we had a contact person nearby and we were able to contact them very easily. The radiant flooring was incredible, at times just a little too warm inside. We just opened some windows and let the fresh air in...and it was fine. Bring light pajamas! We really enjoyed all that Zermatt had to offer, from skiing, hiking, touring around and shopping there is something for everyone here. The apres ski huts were lots of fun at the end of the day. I would highly recommend this property to anyone that is heading out to Zermatt! Mark and Silvia were wonderful in booking this trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed this lovely flat in Zermatt with an incredible view of the Matterhorn!! The flat was fully equipped even with a fondue pot so we enjoyed an amazing Christmas fondue! Highly recommended in a quiet location.

Perfection!

We loved everything about this cozy place. The location was my husband’s dream come true as he wanted to photograph the Matterhorn at different times of the day which he could do right from the patio. The inside was clean and welcoming with everything you would need to be comfortable We chose to get food from the market and eat outside at home as the view was the best. We would definitely choose this home again and recommend to our friends and family.

Why they chose this property

When we stood on the piece of land where Millennium now stands, were were immediately taken by its great position and peaceful location - far enough outside the village, for a quiet location, but close enough to easily walk into the village and also to the Sunnegga ski lift which is the fastest route onto the mountain. We thought it was the perfect location.

What makes this property unique

Our location provides a great view of the Matterhorn from both the bedroom and living area and we are on the sunny side of the village. It is a small house with only 3 other apartments and it has direct access from the road, so no long sets of stairs to climb!
