Cozy 1930s Cottage · Fenced Yard for Dogs · Walk to Downtown Aiken
Welcome to Highland Cottage, a fully renovated 1930s home on a quiet street just six blocks from downtown Aiken's restaurants and shops.
Sleep in: the king bedroom has an electric fireplace, and the queen bedroom has a work desk. Both have Helix mattresses, fresh cotton linens, firm and soft pillows and noise machines.
Start your morning at the coffee, tea and hot cocoa bar. The modern kitchen is fully stocked if you'd like to cook.
Bring the dogs: the backyard is fenced, and bowls, towels and lighted collars are waiting. Dogs are welcome for a $50 one-time pet fee, no matter how many you bring. If you’re traveling with more than two pups, just let us know when you book so we can have everything ready for them.
Here for a horse show or a golf trip? The driveway fits 3 cars or a truck and horse trailer. Bruce's Field is 3 miles away, Highfields is 1.5, Whitney Polo Field 1.9 and Aiken Golf Club 1.1.
Full-size laundry, fast Wi-Fi and a 45" Roku TV round it out. My guests tell me it feels like staying with a friend, and that's exactly what I hope for.

Lovely cottage with ample areas to walk our large golden retrievers! Very clean and well appointed. Tara was so easy to communicate with and provided everything we needed for our stay! I would stay there again when in Aiken. The cottage is so close to down town.
