Die Villa Margherita ist unser Stammquartier im Cilento; wir haben sie bereits zum siebten Mal
Die Villa Margherita ist unser Stammquartier im Cilento; wir haben sie bereits zum siebten Mal gebucht. Uns gefällt vor allem immer wieder aufs Neue die herrliche, ruhige Lage mit einem traumhaften Blick auf den Golf von Policastro. Wir genießen es, auf der Veranda direkt am Haus zu frühstücken oder auf der Terrasse weiter unten im liebevoll angelegten Garten zu sitzen, um zu lesen oder einfach die idyllische Landschaft zu betrachten. Dass die Einrichtung schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, stört uns nicht, da wir häufig unterwegs oder draußen sind. Wünschenswert wäre es, dass etwas mehr Geschirr - es gab beispielsweise nur zwei Tassen - vorhanden wäre. Und eine Spülmaschine gehört inzwischen eigentlich zur Standardausstattung. Hervorzuheben ist die Sauberkeit! Dank der äußerst herzlichen, sympathischen und sehr verantwortungsbewussten Verwalterin Gina, die sich um das Anwesen liebevoll und sorgfältig kümmert, ist alles picco bello. Wir haben Gina richtig ins Herz geschlossen. Ebenso Scario, unseren Lieblingsort im Cilento. Da es entlang der Küste keine Straße zum nächsten Ort gibt, ist es hier - wir kommen immer im Mai - sehr ruhig. Der Lungomare lockt mit seinen schönen Häusern, einigen empfehlenswerten Restaurants und dem kleinen Hafen. Zudem ist der hübsche Ort ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge ins Hinterland mit beeindruckenden Gemeinden wie Pisciotta oder entlang der malerischen Küste in die nahe gelegene Basilicata.
