Enjoy the best of York Beach from The Ridge Road Retreat, a recently updated 2-bedroom home just a short walk from Long Sands Beach. This isn’t a typical beach cottage: the home offers a bright, open layout, vaulted ceilings, central air conditioning, a well-appointed kitchen, comfortable furnishings, and a private fenced yard designed for relaxing after a day at the beach.

For summer 2027, we are offering weekly Saturday-to-Saturday stays.

A HOME DESIGNED FOR VACATION
The bright, open-concept living space brings the kitchen, dining area, and living room together beneath beautiful vaulted ceilings. It’s a comfortable place to gather for meals, morning coffee, family game nights, or simply relaxing after a day in the sun.

The kitchen is fully equipped for those who enjoy cooking on vacation, with a dishwasher, Nespresso and Keurig coffee makers, complimentary coffee pods, spices and seasonings, and the everyday essentials that make meal preparation easy.

The home also features central AC, high-speed Wi-Fi, washer and dryer, Smart TV, and parking for 4–5 vehicles.

WALK TO THE BEACH
Long Sands Beach is approximately a 10-minute walk from the house. We’ve made beach days especially easy by providing:

● Beach wagon
● Beach toys
● Cool Cabana shade shelter
● Beach umbrella
● Wheeled YETI cooler
● Soft-sided cooler
● Beach towels
● Boogie boards

After a day of sun and sand, rinse off in the outdoor shower before heading inside.

YOUR PRIVATE OUTDOOR SPACE
The fully fenced backyard gives you room to relax and enjoy the outdoors without giving up the comforts of home.

Grill dinner on the Weber grill, gather around the outdoor dining table, let the kids play, or end the evening around the Solo Stove fire pit under the stars.
It’s a wonderful place to unwind after a beach day.

COMFORTABLE SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
The home sleeps up to 6 guests:
● Bedroom 1: King bed
● Bedroom 2: Queen bed + two twin beds

Please note the bedroom layout: The wall separating the two bedrooms extends approximately halfway to the ceiling rather than being fully enclosed. This design keeps the home bright and airy while creating separate sleeping areas. Guests who require complete floor-to-ceiling privacy between bedrooms should keep this in mind when booking.
