The Mönchgut Peninsula is generally considered the most scenic and, in terms of recreational value, the most significant part of the island of Rügen. It is located within the Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve, a protected landscape area covering a total of 23,500 ha.

The Mönchgut Peninsula is characterised by a picturesque, gently rolling landscape of meadows, pastures, and rolling hills—arguably the most beautiful part of the island of Rügen.

Just a stone’s throw away from the historic Baltic Sea resorts of Binz and Göhren, the Strand Resort Rex Rugia® is currently under construction on a lakeside property in the southeast of the island of Rügen that spans approximately 85,000 m².



Apartment 05:

This 4-room apartment, which accommodates up to 5 people, is bright and very inviting, furnished with modern furniture.
The apartment spans 2 floors.
Accommodating 6 guests is possible, with some restrictions, at no extra cost. The extra bed is located in the room with the tandem bed.





This cosy 4-room apartment is located on the upper floor and is accessible via a separate outdoor staircase. The apartment is approximately 85 m² and features a furnished balcony facing southwest.
The large open-concept living area includes a flat-screen TV and free internet access (Wi-Fi). The kitchenette is fully equipped with a dishwasher, ceramic cooktop, microwave, and other useful appliances such as a coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, etc.

A special highlight is the fireplace, which provides cosy warmth and a very special atmosphere on cool evenings.

Please note: Firewood is not included in the rental price—you are welcome to bring your own or conveniently purchase it in the surrounding area.

On this level, the upper floor, there are two separate bedrooms. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed and an additional TV, and the other with a tandem bed and another TV. The third bedroom, with a double bed, is located in the attic. The bathroom with a tub and the shower room in the attic are generously appointed.
One parking space is assigned to the apartment, and bicycle parking is available right next to the house.



Check-in is from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and check-out is from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
