Cozy Tiny House Glamping Rental in New York with Views of the Catskills

Enjoy glamorous romantic camping 1700 feet above sea level in this off-grid tiny house with panoramic views of the Catskill Mountains just 2.5 hours from NYC! Ideal for couples. It's one of 5 unique structures on our 4-acre farm.



Newly constructed in 2021, and well insulated, it contains a memory foam/coil hybrid queen mattress with full bedding, an indoor eco-tub, a kitchen sink & counter, 2 bar stools, and raised eating platform.



Our home is approximately 450 feet from your accommodation.



Just outside the house, you'll find your Weber propane barbecue grill with an outdoor table and benches. Use the ice-filled cooler provided to store your burgers, hot dogs, and other food items. We provide all the cooking utensils, silverware, paper plates, napkins, coffee mugs, and other kitchen essentials (salt, pepper, tissues, wipes, dish soap, etc.)



Super cozy queen-sized bed and 2 large windows that prop open allow a cool breeze to sweep through the space as you sleep. The front door also has a screen door that can let in maximum breeze and keep the bugs out!



If you're here on a clear night, you will be dazzled by our star gazing and wonder in awe at how you can see the Milky Way from our field.



Walk our secluded dirt road and visit the animals at the nearby farm (Lamas, sheep, goats, donkeys, ducks, chickens).



Other nearby attractions are the Kaaterskill Waterfall, Zoom Flume water park, Howe Caverns (underground caves), and Greenville Drive-In-Theater.

Note: Tub provides captured rainwater stored in a 275-gallon storage tank. Perfect for cooling off during a hot summer day or for taking a relaxing bubble bath in the evening. We can provide a couple of large urns with pre-boiled hot water which you can add directly to the tub to help warm the water on cloudy or colder summer days.



Guest access:



A large field (approx 1/4 acre). Parking in the owner's large driveway. Walk 200 feet to the cabin.



Other things to note

Note: Campfires are NOT ALLOWED to be made by guests at any time. At this elevation in the mountains, the wind can get quite strong. This is why we provide a propane gas grill for your cooking needs.



FAQ



1. Is there electricity in the tiny house?

No, but we provide a solar lamp with a USB port for charging phones, and near the owners home is an outdoor farm wagon you can charge your devices if necessary.



2. Is there hot water for tea and coffee? Yes, we provide a large thermos where you'll find pre-boiled water inside.



3. Do we have privacy? Yes, no one can see into your accommodation and other campsites are more than 150 feet from yours.



4. Do we need to bring our own drinking water? Yes, you should. We simply provide you with 2.5 gallons of sink water for washing up.



5. Do we need to bring our own blankets, pillows? No, we provide all fresh bedding material and towels. However, we recommend bringing one extra blanket for your added comfort.



6. Is there a bathroom? Yes, there is a brand new port-a-potty 35 feet away which is for your private use only (not shared).



7. Is there Wi-fi? No, but cell service is available.



8. Are pets allowed? Yes, pets are permitted for an extra fee.



9. Are kids allowed? Yes, but they should be older than 10 years, We ask that all adult persons be 18 years or older.



10. Do you provide a BBQ grill? Yes, we offer a Weber propane grill. You don't need to bring charcoal or anything (the propane tank is included).



11. Do you provide plates, utensils, napkins, coffee mugs? Yes



12. Do you provide coffee and tea? Yes, we provide instant versions of both.
