Forest Granite Chalet

A perfect, luxurious chalet in the woods on a quiet small farm. The granite-tiled first floor features a spacious, open-concept kitchen and dining area, a bathroom, and a stylish home office. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern, high-end cookware and bakeware for every occasion. A gas stove and oven are provided! Both the kitchen and the dining area offer a direct view of the forest trees, stone walls, and one of the two garden terraces through a large sliding window. The large dining table and hardwood bench are fitted with sheepskins for added comfort. Under the stairs leading upstairs is a mini wine bar. The entire lower level (including the bathroom) is tiled with high-quality, non-slip granite tiles. The bathroom features a sliding door, a beautiful granite sink, and a walk-in shower. The home office offers a spacious workspace (for one person) in a cozy, log-cabin-style structure with exposed wooden beams. There is a library with books ranging from fiction to works on local botany and history. The high ceilings create a sense of spaciousness. The kitchen also features a washing machine and a dishwasher. On the top floor, huge windows create a magical atmosphere. The direct view into the treetops and the mountains, along with the chance to observe the forest birds, owls at night, and other wildlife, make a stay here truly incredible. A queen-size bed, complete with top-quality linens and storage space underneath, offers a direct view of the trees. A stylish two-seater leather sofa offers views of the treetops and sunsets—just like the open, freestanding stone bathtub. Watch the sunset over Chapman’s Peak from the bathtub (you can also watch a movie from the bathtub), from the couch, from the bed, from the second desk, or from our second, upper terrace (which is accessible via a sliding door from the top floor). A large 65-inch flat-screen TV provides digital entertainment and Netflix for cozy evenings. (Gas heating warms the entire house.) There are two decks—a sun deck and one in the garden!
