NEW OPENING October 2023. “Dat lütte Ferienhuus an’t Dannewark” is a cozy and modern single-family home on an approximately 1,100-square-meter lot in the heart of the Dannewerk community, right next to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Danewerk/Haithabu. During the summer months, the garden bursts into a veritable riot of flowers, and the small herb bed exudes an enchanting fragrance, serving as a playground for many insects. The garden is perfect for relaxing, sunbathing, and barbecuing—a true oasis to linger in. Starting the day with the first rays of sunshine, enjoying a leisurely breakfast outdoors, and winding down the evening with a nice drink—that’s the pure vacation feeling. Sheltered on the covered patio, with direct access to the kitchen, you can do all this even in typical northern German dreary weather. Just lose track of time and enjoy your vacation. Parking spaces are available directly on the property. Bicycles can be stored in the garage, and e-bike batteries can be charged there.

The entryway has space for your jackets, shoes, and bags, as well as additional storage for any items you bring along. The light-filled living/dining room, with a comfortable seating area, invites you to linger and relax. For your entertainment, there’s a TV, board games, free Wi-Fi, and a selection of books to browse through and let your imagination wander. The kitchen is fully equipped. Whether it’s glasses, silverware, dishes, pots, or pans—even appliances like a stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with a small freezer compartment, coffee maker, electric kettle, and microwave are all available. After you’ve done your shopping—perhaps at one of the many farm stands in the region—you can start cooking right away. The kitchen opens directly onto the covered terrace, so you can enjoy your meals outdoors as well. The modern bathroom, featuring a spacious walk-in shower, two windows that let in natural light, and underfloor heating, is a little oasis of wellness. Towels and a hair dryer are provided. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, each furnished with a cozy double bed. Storage space for your suitcase and ample closet space are standard features. Nothing stands in the way of a restful sleep and peaceful nights—thanks to the rural tranquility, you can even sleep with the windows open.
