Charlie's Place was completely renovated in 1999, restoring the original knotty pine paneling and wood floors. Walk from the living room to the spacious beach front deck with only a few steps to the sand. Let the kids play on the beach under your watchful eye while you enjoy your favorite book from the comfort of indoors. Witness the brilliant colors of a majestic sunset or the power of waves crashing during a winter storm...all available at Charlie's Place!

• Entry level of home: Ocean facing Queen bedroom, full bathroom, kitchen, living/dining area with flat screen TV, fireplace and door out to ocean facing two, tiered deck
• Second floor: Two ocean facing King bedrooms, ocean facing Queen bedroom, full bathroom, and washer and dryer.
• Lower level: Bunkroom (3 sets of bunk beds, sleeps 6), full bath, tv area with a fireplace, & access to the yard & beach

This place was a gem! Easy access to the beach. Tons of room and spaces to be in the house if needed. The upstairs rooms were beautiful and had great view. The bunkroom was fun for the kids.

Absolutely fantastic vacation! The location and access to the beach couldn't be better. Our family of 7, including 2 toddlers, had plenty of space with comfortable seating and beds on all 3 floors.Loved the wall of windows and rear deck with Adirondack chairs to watch beachcombers, kite fliers, shorebirds, the tide and sunsets.

Overall the house was great. The downsides were the basement tv did not work, the upstairs shower head is too high to reach(touching the ceiling), no exterior lights worked, basment shower has loose tiles, basement toilet flush handle detaches easily not great lighting in the living room.

50th Birthday Celebration

It was so great to be right on the beach! Plenty of room to spread out. The big windows looking right out to the ocean from the main floor living area were wonderful! We were super blessed with great weather so it was wonderful to be able to walk right out onto the beach or sit on the deck.

We absolutely loved this property! Fantastic views and easy, convenient access to the beach. The deck is amazing. The downstairs area provided a great space for our teenagers and the upstairs bedrooms for the adults are spacious and nicely furnished. The Boutwell Brothers inherited Charlie's Place from their paternal grandparents, Willard & Gladys Boutwell. The boys, along with their parents, would spend summers and long weekends visiting their grandparents at the beach. Now, Charlie's Place is cared for by the three brothers and their families.
