Guest access
You will have your own, separate, fully private apartment with own entry. This part of a house was built as a 'mother in law suite'. You have your own entry, where you would enter the first exterior door and then an addition door inside a small foyer.

Other things to note
I live in the same house along with my wife and 2 children in the main wing. I have a separate entry door, which is located about 30 feet away. I have a small beagle dog that does not bark. The house has a deck and a pool which are NOT part of the rental. I am an easy going person and super happy to help my guests with any advices, restaurants, where to visit NYC, etc.

For those commuting to New York City, the NJ Transit Hillsdale station is just a 5-minute walk away. From there, you can reach Penn Station in Manhattan in about an hour. If you're driving, you can get to Northern Manhattan in under 20 minutes without traffic.

Hillsdale is served by NJ Transit's Pascack Valley Line, with trains running approximately from 5:00 a.m. until 12:30 a.m. on weekdays and until around 1:30 a.m. on weekends. Trains run roughly once every hour during peak times and once every 1.5-2 hours on off peak times. For additional train options you can also considering commuting into / out of Ridgewood, which services both the Main and Bergen county line. This option will offer more train options in / out of NYC and is located just a 15 minute ride from Hillsdale (4 miles - Uber from there is typically about $15).
