About this property

Off Grid Glamping at a Secluded A-Frame Cabin in New York

This is a tiny A-frame cabin tucked deep in a private Catskills forest just 2.5 hours from NYC!

What makes this stay special isn't what's inside the cabin—it's being elevated among the trees with your own private outdoor soaking tub, fire pit, and forest-view deck.

Spend your evenings soaking under the stars, sipping coffee above the forest canopy, or enjoying a glass of wine beside the fire.

The Milky Way will stretch endlessly overhead with a soundtrack of owls and tree frogs.

The A-Frame was designed for guests looking to disconnect from screens, schedules, and everyday noise. Nestled among the trees in New York's Catskill Mountains, it's a peaceful retreat where nature takes center stage.

Whether you're watching the sunrise through the trees, soaking beneath the stars, or relaxing by the fire, the retreat invites you to slow down and enjoy the simple things.

This is one of four unique cabins located on our private glamping property.

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT?

• Striking black A-Frame with a unique mountain-cabin aesthetic

• Elevated among the trees with the feeling of your own private forest retreat

• Private soaking tub overlooking the surrounding forest. Weekend guests enjoy one fresh hot-water soak each evening of their stay. (Please note: this is a handcrafted soaking tub, not a jetted hot tub.)

• Spacious elevated deck perfect for morning coffee, reading, stargazing, or simply listening to the sounds of nature

• Modern propane fire table for relaxing evenings outdoors

• Cabin sites spaced more than 150 feet apart for added privacy

OUTDOOR LIVING

Most guests spend the majority of their stay outdoors.

• Private soaking tub

• Large elevated deck surrounded by trees

• Modern propane fire table

• Outdoor cooking station beneath the cabin

• Cookware, utensils, mugs, and cooking essentials

• Zero-gravity lounge chairs

• Cooler stocked with frozen ice packs

• Excellent birdwatching and wildlife viewing

• Two nearby creeks provide the relaxing sound of flowing water

INSIDE THE A-FRAME

• Comfortable queen bed with real mattress

• Fresh sheets, duvet, blankets, and pillows

• Small dining table for meals, games, journaling, or reading

• Comfortable seating

• Lantern and portable power bank for charging phones and small devices

THE EXPERIENCE (PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING)

The A-frame is intentionally simple.

It was created for guests seeking peace, privacy, fresh air, and a slower pace—not a luxury hotel experience.

Please read carefully before booking:

• Approximately a 130-foot walk from the parking area to the cabin

• Clean, private porta-potty located near the parking area

• No traditional indoor plumbing

• No standard household electricity inside the cabin

• Forest setting with wildlife, insects, changing weather, and the natural sounds of the outdoors

If you're looking for a luxury resort, this may not be the right fit.

If you're looking to unplug, recharge, reconnect with nature, and experience glamping in a truly unique setting, you'll likely love Hollowmore.
