Excellent stay in Volterra!

We had an excellent stay with the family for a week in Volterra. Simona, the host, was very helpful and flexible with the check-in time as we arrived very late in the evening. The house was very clean, everything working well and the kids had a good time in the pool with a view. It’s well located to explore the Volterra and Tuscany area. We can recommend it!

Beautiful Cottage in the Tuscan countryside

This home was great! It's a beautiful 2 bedroom Tuscan style house with stone walls and open wood beams, set aside from the main villa where the owners live. Great location just 5 minutes outside of volterra allowed us to day trip throughout Tuscany and return to the comfort of our own house. The home is clean, and well furnished. The setting in the countryside was lovely , as well as the owners hospitality. We had a fantastic stay with our infant daughter and would definitely return to stay again.

Wonderful place

We stayed 3 weeks with our kids and two dogs and really enjoyed our stay. Simona and her family were very nice hosts and created a warm welcomig atmosphere. Our kids enjoyed the pool very much, which was cleaned every morning. The location is attached to Volterra but 1 km below the village which makes it situated perfectly. At the back of the house, you can start a nice hiking trail and in 3 minutes you can reach Volterra village. We will come back! Many thanks, Simona!

Toskanische Auszeit

Angekommen vor Ort hat man uns sofort freundlichst in Empfang genommen, alles gezeigt und den Papierkram erledigt. Es gab von der herzlichen Vermieterin auch Tipps zu Restaurants, zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Ausflugszielen. Besonders war auch, das wir mal eine große Schale Weintrauben von den eigenen Reben bekommen haben, oder mal einen Schwung frischer Eier. Zwischendurch wurde immer wieder gefragt ob alles in Ordnung sei. Also: immer sehr bemüht, sehr freundlich und sehr gut.

Kommen gerne wieder

Von hier aus schöne Ausflüge nach San Gimignano, Siena, Colle d'elsa, Pomeranca , Lucca und natürlich Volterra unternommen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Garten sehr gepflegt mit wunderbaren Ausblick .Vermieterin war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns sehr gute Restaurants mit traditioneller toskanischer Küche empfohlen.

Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt mit Ausflügen nach San Gimignano, Siena , volterra, Pomeranca und Lucca. Von der Unterkunft muss man immer mit dem Auto los. Unsere Vermieterin hat uns sehr gute Lokale mit traditioneller Küche empfohlen!

Haus mit Aussicht

Zufahrt zum Haus über eine Schotterpiste. Dies ist aber üblich in der Toskana. Das Haus war blitzsauber und die Aussicht vom Esszimmer ein Traum. Simone ist eine exzellente Gastgeberin. Volterra erreicht man mit dem Auto in einigen Minuten. Es hat in der Umgebung auch sehr gute Restaurants zur Verpflegung aber alles nur mit Auto zu erreichen oder mit E-Bike.

Schönes Haus und freundliche Menschen

Wir waren zu viert, zwei Pärchen in dem Haus. Es ist sehr sauber, praktikabel und schön eingerichtet. Das Gelände ist gepflegt und ausreichend groß um sich am Pool aufzuhalten und schöne Abende auf der Veranda vor dem Haus zu verbringen. Auch der Ausblick ist wunderschön. Die Besitzerin, S., ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und steht für alle Fragen zur Verfügung. Die Nähe zu Volterra ist Klasse und andere Orte sind gut mit den Auto erreichbar. Vielen Dank nochmal an S.!

Phantastische Unterkunft

Wir haben uns zwei Wochen in der Villa Caggio aufgehalten. Vor allem die Sauberkeit, der gepflegte Zustand und die Liebe zum Detail in der Einrichtung ist zu erwähnen. Eine sehr nette und aufmerksame Vermieterin wohnt ebenfalls auf dem Anwesen. Wir kommen wieder.

Schönes Haus mit phantastischer Aussicht

Schönes Einzelhaus mit grandioser Aussicht über den Pool auf die Hügel bei Volterra. Sehr gepflegt und sauber und alles funktionierte. Beide Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Badezimmer, baulich getrennt, dadurch für zwei Paare perfekt geeignet. Nicht zu vergessen die sehr nette Vermieterin und ihre Söhne, die uns herzlich empfangen haben. Volterra ist nicht weit und auch 2 wunderbare Restaurants, die Villa Felice und die Trattoria Albana in Mazzolla. Einfach ein Traum zum Entspannen, nur zu empfehlen!

Tolle Erholung garantiert

Mit unseren 3 Kindern waren wir zu Gast in diesem wunderbaren Haus. Wir wollten ein paar ruhige Tage genießen und genau das haben wir bekommen! Ein sehr sauberes und voll ausgestattetes Haus, einen tollen Pool, nette Vermieter und ein Wahnsinns-Blick auf die toskanische Hügellandschaft. Und die Ruhe, die das Anwesen ausstrahlt, lässt den Akku schnell wieder aufladen.

Fantastische locatie en super aardige gastvrouw

Waren eind juli 2020 de eerste en enige gasten. Heerlijk huisje, voldoende, schone ruimtes en voorzieningen. Alhoewel een ventilator in augustus wel prettig zou zijn. Heerlijk zwembad, lekker privé overdekt terras en prachtige uit/vergezichten.

Un super endroit

Location très propre - très bien entretenue - très bon accueil des propriétaires qui sont très attentionnés pour savoir si tout se passe bien - lieu très calme et extrêmement bien situé pour rayonner pour visiter les plus beaux lieux de Toscane - pas de doutes si je reviens en Toscane je retournerai à la villa Caggio !!

Urlaub in Volterra

Wir waren sehr angenehm überrascht von der Ausstattung unseres Ferienhauses. Sehr gepflegt , schöne Badezimmer . Insgesamt eine sehr gepflegte Anlage mit netten Vermietern (leider sprechen Sie nur italienisch) In einer tollen Landschaft. Waren teilweise mit 5 Personen in der Wohnung, war dann lediglich vom Geschirr etwas knapp. Aber kein wirkliches Problem, zumal die Vermieterin sehr hilfsbereit war, falls wir etwas benötigten. Wir haben dort einen sehr schönen Urlaub verbracht .

Séjour à Volterra

Notre appréciation sur notre séjour à Volterra : La maison que nous avons retenue était propre l'environnement agréable. Cependant, nous émettons quelques réserves : - à notre arrivée la maison était glaciale. Nous avons donc dû effectuer la montée en température. A notre départ, la propriétaire nous a demandé de régler en supplément une somme tres elevee pour le gaz utilisé à cet effet et le chauffage au cours du séjour de 5 jours Elle nous a compté une consommation sans avoir fait de relevé du compteur en notre présence ni à notre arrivée ni à notre départ. Ceci nous a paru exorbitant pour 5 jours et curieux sur la façon de procéder. - La porte fenêtre de la chambre du rez de chaussée est inadaptée car elle est dépourvue de volets ou de stores. Nous avons donc dû l'occulter par nos propres moyens. - L' écoulement de la douche du rez de chaussée est défectueux et de ce fait le 1er matin, nous avons du faire face à une inondation…. - En outre, l'équipement du gîte en électro ménager est sommaire (pas de grille pain, pas de micro ondes, pas de lave vaisselle, lave linge,...)
