Note: Pike View Lodge does not have air conditioning. Open a window in the loft area above and a few down below for a nice breeze through the house.

If you are flying: The Colorado Springs airport is best. It is a 45 minute beautiful drive from there to the Lodge!

The drive: A 4WD vehicle is advantageous if you are arriving in snowy conditions.

Arrival at night: The last part of the drive will be on a fairly dark road with one longer hill to climb.

Access at the Lodge: The driveway is flat. There is a short sidewalk then a few stairs to the front door.

Elevation: Pike View Lodge is at 9500 ft. Check with your doctor before reserving if you have a medical condition.

We use exterior security cameras to ensure the safety of our guests and the protection of the property.

Words can’t even describe how incredible this home is! From the property and layout to the smallest of details, everything is so thoughtfully designed and personal. If we ever needed anything, Katy was just a phone call away and always so kind.We got married in the backyard and hosted our reception there as well—it was absolutely perfect. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the setting was breathtaking in every way. The day after the wedding, we loved hiking around the property and relaxing in the hot tub—it was the perfect way to unwind.We also had several little ones with us, ranging from 6 months to 5 years old, and the home had everything we could possibly need for them.I would recommend this place to absolutely anyone and everyone! We’re already planning to rent it again for future anniversaries.

Beautiful. Pictures did not do justice to the views of the mountains or the home. Owners were quick to respond& very helpful with planning things to do while we were there. This is a must stay location.

Our 4th time back

This is our 4th time staying at this wonderful mountain getaway. The cabin is just perfect with a view you can stare at all day long. We'll be back for our 5th visit again next spring!

The perfect retreat!

Family Retreat

This is our 5th stay at this property and it continues to produce good memories for us. Extended family gathers every 2 years to celebrate the life of our father who loved the mountains and especially Pike’s Peak. Spectacular views and plenty of space for our group of 12.

Thanksgiving Vacation!

If you are looking for a getaway vacation, this is the place to go! Beautiful home with an amazing scenery. Great for family gatherings. Also Jerry was very helpful and responsive with any questions we had. Our family loved every minute of this vacation.

Love, love, love it!!

We so enjoyed our family vacation at Pike's View Lodge! The 8 of us could gather close in the great room for meals and games, and had ample space for private moments. Views are truly breathtaking. The Lodge has every amenity one would hope for with the warmth of home. You're secluded, but the restaurants and shopping are just a short drive away. We'll definitely be back!

Family Reunion - this house was absolutely perfect! The views, the fresh air and the enchanting home are just amazing. This is a high end mountain home and all of the materials, furnishings and decor are simply gorgeous. We could not have been more pleased! Mountain View Lodge has been a wonderful place to get away and come back refreshed from. When you walk in you feel right at home. It is beautiful and homey with lots of space and rooms. It is quiet and the scenery is breathtaking. You can see the beautiful snow capped mountain tops right from inside. It is quiet and clean with a fireplace too. I would come back again. Our first time here and we loved it.

An excellent escape with gorgeous views

My family and I spent a week in this great house. There were eight of us - six adults and two children. There was plenty of room for all of us, the accommodation was great and the views were amazing. Although it is a real retreat in the mountains, it is close to so much, both in terms of activities and in terms of shops, etc. We had a really great time and would definitely stay again, We also found the owners to be very welcoming. Even though they were travelling themselves, they called twice to welcome us and to check that our stay was going well.

Million dollar view

We enjoyed a wonderful family Christmas at the Lodge. We had 12 members and the accommodations were spectacular. The view of Pikes Peak was amazing. We experienced snow, fog, and clear skies. The Lodge was a constant joy. The owner was extremely helpful and always ready to answer questions or assist us with anything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed in terms of pots, pans, or dishes , so fixing meals wasn’t a problem. We strongly recommend staying there!

Our visit to the Pike View Lodge was the most beautiful and tranquil experiences in my life. From the beautiful view of Pikes Peak to the beautifully decorated home, it took my breath away. Every morning was an amazing view as we ate breakfast and drank coffee on the back deck. The mountain view and the wooded area around the lodge were so fun to explore. We cooked in the beautiful accommodated kitchen. We visited different tourist areas near the home and had an amazing time visiting and enjoying the wonderful accommodations. I can not wait to go back and visit again.

Amazing Mountain Week

I was told of the cabin, prior to arriving, however words did not quite describe how nice this place is. Looks like it was centered on a map to view Pikes Peak. The views are just spectacular. The cabin itself was everything and more that what I was told to expect. Truly amazing place. Just what a mountain cabin should look like, feel like. No doubt this place will be back on the list of places to go on vacation. I highly recommend to any family or group. The location to downtown Woodland Park is just a short drive down the road. Do not hesitate to book this place, you will not be disappointed.

Great week at Pike View Lodge

We had a fantastic experience with our 4-generation family gathering at the Pike View lodge. We had more than enough room for our family of 12. The house was so comfy and amenable to all our needs. We loved the great room with it's awesome views of Pikes Peak, the media room, and the well-equipped kitchen and outdoor grill. Location was a beautiful and cool escape for us Texans! Woodland Park has everything you might need for supplies and restaurants. We enjoyed many activities in the area while we were there, including biking down Pikes Peak (with Pikes Peak Bike Tours), Garden of the Gods, the Colorado Springs zoo, Old Colorado City, and a very nice dinner at the Swiss Chalet in Woodland Park. All in all just an amazing mountain getaway!

Absolutely Breathtaking!!!

We were fortunate to stay at Pikes View Lodge for my husband's 50th birthday celebration along with 10 other friends. The moment we opened the front door, we were left breathless. The home is perfectly appointed and not one detail was overlooked. It's everything we were expecting and so much MORE. The property owner) called to welcome us and to make sure we were satisfied throughout our stay. The property is spacious, clean and fully stocked with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. We enjoyed many nights by the fire and around the beautiful dining table enjoying the views and each other's company. Many wonderful memories were made at Pikes Peak and it was a trip that we will cherish forever. We are really looking forward to our next stay at Pikes View Lodge!!!!

Ultimate Family Celebration Home!

If the wonderful reviews and spectacular photos of Mountain View Lodge are inspiring dreams of a Rocky Mountain vacation, you absolutely should follow-through and book your stay! In celebration of my Mom's 75th birthday, family members from 8 states traveled to Colorado to treat her to the surprise of a lifetime - and we could not have enjoyed a more ideal setting. Our multi-generational party of 20 was perfectly accommodated in this extraordinary home - in fact it felt like the "ultimate three-night slumber party" for us all, with every comfort and convenience readily available. From the wood stocked for the fire, to the wonderfully-equipped kitchen, and the many places to gather and dine and spend time together... we so enjoyed our time in this beautiful vacation home. From faraway Florida, I remained in good touch with Jerry well in advance of our trip - and when I arrived at his home, absolutely everything was in order. If you have the opportunity to "put yourself in this picture" I whole heartedly encourage you to do so. At Mountain View Lodge, you will experience the most lovely setting to enjoy your favorite people (made complete with phenomenal views, ideal accommodations and the most gracious owner and host!). We could not have experienced a more EPIC family holiday!

UNIMAGINABLE BEAUTY AND PEACE

Every year my daughter and her family, my Mother, my husband and I go on vacation together. It's always a treat to finally get away from the business of everyday life. This year we decided to go to Colorado. I searched for almost two months for the perfect place to stay. I searched and searched some more. Then the first time I saw this beautiful lodge, I instantly knew that was what I had been searching for. I wanted beauty, peace, quiet, a lot of Aspen trees, not in a "community" setting...all alone! Well, I was not disappointed AT ALL!! It was beyond words! The house was big enough for each family to have their own space and privacy. The pictures don't do it justice. You look out the gorgeous floor to ceiling windows and see Pikes Peak, with snow on top of it. You hear absolutely NOTHING! It was just pure quiet. I would go out on the wrap around deck and just get lost in the beauty. I can't describe, or tell you how perfect this place is. (I imagine my home in Heaven to be like this). You just have to experience this all on your own. It is breathtaking. You will not be sorry if you choose to stay here. That's a promise!

Absolutely Perfect Family Vacation Home

This home was the most perfect place for our family vacation of 20, comprised of five individual families ranging in ages from 1 to 70. We spent a full week in the home and it was more than we could have asked for. From the beautifully decorated living areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms, to the amazing view of Pike's Peak, and the spacious deck that wraps around the home, this was the most picture perfect place for our vacation. We were busy from day one enjoying all the sights and activities the Woodland Park and Colorado Springs area offers. We enjoyed white water rafting through the Royal Gorge. We spent Fourth of July boating on the 11 Mile Reservoir and riding the train in Cripple Creek. We visited the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, US Air Force Academy, Seven Falls, and ate dinner at The Airplane Restaurant in Colorado Springs. We hiked through Garden of the Gods and saw the Manitou Cliff Dwellings. We spent time shopping in the boutiques and eating at the small pubs and diners in downtown Colorado Springs, Old Colorado City, and Manitou Springs. We enjoyed the North Pole Theme Park and even had time to enjoy The Wines of Colorado. The view at this winery was breathtaking and the wine and food was superb. While traveling from place to place there is SO much beauty to be seen. Deer visited the property daily and were seen everywhere we went. Even though we kept busy during the day, we didn't take for granted the beautiful home we were staying in. We spent time cooking daily breakfasts and dinners and always had what we needed to do so. The house is stocked with everything you need for any type of meal. We played cards, checkers, and other games each night and even used the fireplace a couple times because of the cooler temperatures when the sun went down. We spent a good deal of time on the deck in the early mornings and at night chatting with one another and reflecting on our daily adventures. Jerry made our stay even better. He called and welcomed us and even checked in during the week to see that everything was fine. He went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and I would highly recommend this first class property to anyone looking for a vacation home.

Katy was super communicative! We used the cabin for a micro wedding and had our closest friends and family stay with us. The host was kind enough to send extra photos just for planning our event. The views are stunning and the cabin is very kid friendly.

Perfect

This was the PERFECT place It has everything you need and then some extras!Our group ranged from 6 months to 65 years old. The decor is beautiful without worrying if something was going to get broken because of 11 grandkids.The view is absolutely gorgeous.Hot tub is in a perfect spot to relax.Our grandkids had a blast exploring outside and playing lots of hide and seek inside.Katy is the absolute BEST!

We purchased this property because it truly does have the best Pike's Peak view in all of Teller County. When we walked in, we knew we wanted this place as our dream vacation home. To be able to share it with others completes our dream!

What makes this property unique

The property has been totally remodeled and is absolutely fabulous. It is the iconic mountain lodge with great room that opens out to a panoramic deck, a million dollar view of Pikes Peak, stone floor to ceiling fireplace, white cedar ceilings, knotty cypress and slate floors, hickory cabinets, log accents, and lots of room to spread out for multi-generation groups.
