Note: Pike View Lodge does not have air conditioning. Open a window in the loft area above and a few down below for a nice breeze through the house.

If you are flying: The Colorado Springs airport is best. It is a 45 minute beautiful drive from there to the Lodge!

The drive: A 4WD vehicle is advantageous if you are arriving in snowy conditions.

Arrival at night: The last part of the drive will be on a fairly dark road with one longer hill to climb.

Access at the Lodge: The driveway is flat. There is a short sidewalk then a few stairs to the front door.

Elevation: Pike View Lodge is at 9500 ft. Check with your doctor before reserving if you have a medical condition.

We use exterior security cameras to ensure the safety of our guests and the protection of the property.

I can’t say enough lovely things about our stay at Pike View! The surroundings are incredible- so private and peaceful and the view of the mountain is unbeatable! The home has truly everything you could need to enjoy your stay- from charging hubs by every bed to fluffy robes and a FULLY stocked kitchen. Katy is a wonderful host and was so helpful with everything we needed. I’ve stayed at many short term rentals and have to say this is truly one of the best.

This place was absolutely stunning. We had a large group and there was more than enough space! The home is well stocked and has anything that you would need. The view was so beautiful and you felt so secluded, but still only a short drive to town! The host was so kind and so easy to communicate with.

This property was nearly perfect for our family vacation! We had 15 people from 9 to 80 years old and it had plenty to do for all of us! There were enough separate gathering places, both inside and out, for everyone to do what they wanted while also having a large enough space for us all to have meals together.We had amazing views and we felt like we had the mountain to ourself! It’s only a 15min drive into town so we had the best of both worlds.The hosts were extremely accommodating and helpful; they made tons of great recommendations, including a family photographer.10/10 would recommend and would love to go again!

This is our 7th trip to Pike View Lodge with our extended family (8-12 people) and it was another great trip. Recent upgrades by the new owners added some nice touches. Great communication with the hosts always makes this trip easy. Look forward to our 2028 trip!

We had an extended family gathering here to honor the memory of my father-in-law, and the property was simply incredible. It’s a beautiful lodge with a breathtaking view of Pikes Peak, impeccably maintained and easy to navigate.You can tell immediately how service-oriented the host is—everything, right down to the light switches, is clearly labeled. I often have to work while on vacation, and the dedicated workspace here was wonderful. The lodge easily accommodated our group of 6 couples and 4 singles.Outdoors, the property features great rock outcroppings and a scenic spot that offers a stunning view of the sunset. The hot tub was clean and inviting. Even though it feels wonderfully secluded in the mountains, you can still get into Woodland Park in just a few minutes.Our whole family loved staying here. It was the perfect place to gather and honor my father-in-law.

Wow! This property was exquisite. To be honest, the house itself could have been a dump, and we would still probably give great reviews, because THAT VIEW. I mean, incredible. Waking up to the majesty of the sun dancing off of Pikes Peak and sipping coffee on the beautiful back porch was an experience that's worth 5 stars all by itself. But the house was wonderful too! It was spacious, with PLENTY of room for a large, multifamily group. The main-level bunk room was huge, and 4 of the littles really enjoyed setting up camp there. The kids also enjoyed hanging out in the downstairs living room, playing video games and trying their hand on the Pac-Man arcade game. The kitchen was well-equipped for all the cooking we love to do, and we made some great meals there. All we needed to bring was the food! There were two types of coffee pots with k-cups provided, which was very convenient. We encountered two small maintenance issues when we arrived, but their maintenance personnel came over within hours to address and fix it! I was very impressed with their service and how friendly they were (even when we were interrupting their weekend)! The communication with Katy was phenomenal. Anytime I had a question, she answered instantly, and was so kind, polite, and helpful. On the last day, we hired an amazing photographer (who lives next door!) to come take family photos. The photos are beautiful and we'll treasure them forever. This was a wonderful experience; kudos to Pike View Lodge!

Our 4th time back

This is our 4th time staying at this wonderful mountain getaway. The cabin is just perfect with a view you can stare at all day long. We'll be back for our 5th visit again next spring!

Beautiful. Pictures did not do justice to the views of the mountains or the home. Owners were quick to respond& very helpful with planning things to do while we were there. This is a must stay location.

The perfect retreat!

This spacious lodge sitting at the base of Pikes Peak is absolutely breathtaking. The lodge has every ammenity a large family would need and the views are beautiful. Its the perfect setting for a family reunion and we can't wait for a return visit.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property because it truly does have the best Pike's Peak view in all of Teller County. When we walked in, we knew we wanted this place as our dream vacation home. To be able to share it with others completes our dream!

What makes this property unique

The property has been totally remodeled and is absolutely fabulous. It is the iconic mountain lodge with great room that opens out to a panoramic deck, a million dollar view of Pikes Peak, stone floor to ceiling fireplace, white cedar ceilings, knotty cypress and slate floors, hickory cabinets, log accents, and lots of room to spread out for multi-generation groups.
