With the holiday home “Am Stein,” we offer you an exclusive holiday retreat that captivates with its outstanding location right on Lake Sternberg.
The lovingly furnished house accommodates up to 5 people. On the upper floor, you’ll find two cosy bedrooms decorated in the warm “End of Summer” colour scheme, as well as a small shower room.
On the lower floor, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen that leaves nothing to be desired, even on holiday. The adjoining living and dining room invites you to relax with a comfortable upholstered seating area and a large 55"-4K smart TV (including Netflix, Apple TV, and Disney+). The dining area seats up to 5 people. The wood-burning stove ensures especially cosy evenings, radiating warm comfort and cosiness.
A special highlight: In the adjoining bathroom, you’ll find a sauna that’s perfect for unwinding and relaxing. After a soothing sauna session, head straight to the lake to cool off—a refreshing experience that rounds out the perfect holiday day! Through the large patio window, you’ll enjoy a magnificent and soothing view of Lake Sternberg, which you can also take in from the furnished patio with a grill.
The surrounding nature is a true paradise for animal lovers: Here you can spot majestic white-tailed eagles, colourful kingfishers, graceful swans, slender great egrets, and elegant grey herons:)

The town of Sternberg, with its historic city centre, is nestled on the shores of the large Lake Sternberg. In the summer, the lake is perfect for swimming, swimming, fishing, and boating. The entire area around Sternberg offers excellent opportunities for relaxation—whether on hikes right along the lake, all the way to the Upper Lakes, or on bike rides through the rolling countryside. For those who love adventure, a canoe trip through the picturesque Warnow Gorge would be just the thing.
Sternberg is very centrally located, so you can set out from there on many day trips—for example, to the state capital Schwerin, Wismar, Rostock, Güstrow, or the Baltic Sea, etc.
