By Boat Only... The Smiley Face House

Goat Island is unique! Arriving by your own Private Boat, this is where the fun begins...... You can paint your own individual theme for your stay on the back of the Smiley Face, a game of Ping Pong on the front porch, laying in hammocks, fishing the back side of the island on Gray Bay, kayaking the ICW, swimming off the dock, and exploring Buccaneer Road.
Enjoy beautiful sun sets and rises. Cook local oysters under the stars while sitting around a roaring fire, or bask in the sun for hours on your own private dock while your fishing and crabbing lines are out catching fresh seafood for dinner. The Smiley Face House can offer you all of this and more for year round fun and relaxation.
The house has a complete wrap around deck so there is always shade or sun shine somewhere.
This home features two bedrooms. One bedroom has a king size bed and one bedroom has a queen size bed with one set of bunk beds, sleeping a total of six people. Home includes a fully equipped kitchen with several new appliances, 44" flat screen with complete direct tv, gas and charcoal grill, 4 kayaks 2 double and 2 single, dock, ping pong table, giant jinga, hook and hoop, games, and linens. There is an additional apartment available for rent that sleeps 2 people. It has 1 king size bed...Adults only...Please remember this is an island you can only get to by boat. If you do not have a boat we will be happy to provide a ride to and from the Island for check in and check out. If this is needed you must inform the owner when booking..

Incredible Stay

I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was a great home and so nice to be unplugged and off grid. We enjoyed sitting on the dock and watching boats cruise by. We saw dolphins close by, too. And Jimmy was great to communicate with and made sure we were taken care of.

Amazing stay at Goat

We had an absolute dream vacation at Jimmy’s Smiley Face get away! The house, the amenities and the host were all worth another visit in the future. We enjoyed fishing off the dock, playing ping pong, and relaxing on the porch. Jimmy is an amazing host that is so knowledgeable of the island and a great person to work with. We LOVE the Smiley Face House!

Perfect vacation

This was the perfect family vacation. We’re able to disconnect and enjoy a relaxing time with eachother. There was plenty to do around the house where we often had to make ourselves and the kids jump on the boat to leave the house. Jimmy was an awesome host. We plan on coming back every year.

A True Respite

We stayed at the Smiley Face House in December for my husband's 50th bday. Our friends and our children joined us. Though it was cold, Jimmy was so warm and welcoming. He showed us where the fire pit was and even turned on some string lights for us to enjoy. He also answered all of our questions about the island. The house was so clean and had everything we needed. We loved hiking the island and loved disconnecting from the mainland. We can't wait to come back.. next time when it's a bit warmer.

Great, relaxing trip! The house is just as pictured. The house was SUPER clean!! Kitchen was well stocked. Couches were super comfy! The owner, Jimmy lives next door and is SUPER helpful! He even gave my husband some live bait :) We had a great week!

Smiley Face House was wonderful. My wife and I spent her 50th Birthday at Smiley Face house on Goat Island with another couple. The house was wonderful! Jimmy was spectacular and checked in to make sure we were happy and didn’t need anything. The home was very well stocked, had a nice clean grill, and even an extra fridge for beer and bait. We look forward to coming back soon! Thanks for letting us use your home for our special occasion Jimmy.

Relaxing and perfection

Pictures do not do this property justice. The location was ideal for 2 small families. We found this home to be the perfect place to relax following our island beach trips (Bull Island/Capers). Jimmy was an excellent host and had a wealth of knowledge about the island. We 10/10 would recommend this property and will stay here again. Thanks Jimmy for the memories! P.S. Our favorite spot every evening was enjoying the summer breeze on the front porch while the kids played games and ping pong.

This is an amazing property--we enjoyed it very much. Jimmy was great and quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay. I would definitely recommend this house to others for a getaway. My only advice would be to make sure you have everything you need, including seasonings/spices/condiments/ice/etc because there is a limited stock of things like that at the property and no store you can go to unless by boat. Otherwise 10/10-- would definitely come back!

Best vacation ever

Me my wife and two kids stayed for five nights and we absolutely loved every moment of it. The house is beautiful as well as everything that surrounds it. Being able to wake up with your coffee and go fishing first thing in the morning is absolutely priceless.

Fabulous time on Goat Island

This is our 4th year staying on Goat Island and our first time at this property. We loved every minute of it! Jimmy was a fantastic host. House was stocked with everything we needed. We have 3 teenage boys and they enjoyed playing ping pong, taking the kayak out and fishing off the pier. We’ll be back next year!

What makes this property unique

The entire house runs off of rain water collected in cisterns and runs through an elaborate filtration system made up of charcoal filters and uv lights...
There is not an endless supply of water so I ask guest to please conserve.
