This was our second visit to this property and we were very pleased with it. Unfortunately we’re had to leave NOLA due to covid 19 escalating rapidly. We are dealing a refund for th two weeks we missed.

Great location...
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Anne's property- the location was great- so close to Audubon as well as shops and restaurants on Magazine. The price was reasonable and our stay at Anne's place was fine. However, there were definitely some small issues with the property. First of all a poorly functioning gate made it difficult to access the area where the keybox was located. Spent 30 minutes trying to Macgyver our way in. The house was very musty and mildew-ish smelling. Running all the ceiling fans helped but it was still musty. The layout of the apartment isn't exactly the best- but this is common with shotgun homes so I do understand. It was just my husband and I so we made it work. The master bed has no closet so we used another bedroom to hang our clothes. The master shower seems like a DIY gone slightly awry- only way to turn on the water is if you are standing directly in it's stream. We had to get used to a daily shot of freezing water with every shower. Our main complaint however is in regards to the misrepresentation of the patio furniture. We mainly selected Anne's place for its location and the lovely patio that the kitchen opens up to. Unfortunately upon our arrival we went to put the furniture cushions out (they were stored in some chests on the patio) and all of the cushions were absolutely covered in mold. I mean BAD mold. It was disgusting. Definitely not those pretty white and clean cushions in the photo. We wouldn't dare sit on them let alone touch them. Aside from that, the apartment worked fine for us. We went to the park often instead of worrying about the moldy patio furniture and very much enjoyed our stay. Anne was very kind and accommodating to our needs for a late check-out. Overall we had a great trip!
Anne was an accommodating host for me and two of my friends who stayed at her home for a Jazz Fest weekend and two days afterward. The house is ideally located in the Uptown neighborhood, within walking distance of many superb restaurants. The property was clean and well-maintained. A small courtyard in the back offered a nice space to hang out after dinner. Anne was responsive and facilitated the check-in and check-out process. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
My daughters and I took a trip to NOLA to see my grandparent’s house. It’s just two blocks from our VRBO, which is also very conveniently located for seeing the sights of New Orleans.
We especially liked the charms of the house and wished we could have stayed longer.
Anne was an excellent host. House was in great location with lots of fun things to do and places to eat within walking distance. House was comfortable and easy to access. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips. Will definitely try to rent here again if we return to the area.
Great place and location if you are looking for something very different from the French Quarter and a Hotel. We enjoyed our stay and had no issues.
A good amount of seating and the beds were comfy. Kitchen was very functional and open.
My husband, daughter and I stayed here for the weekend while we were in town celebrating Loyola graduation. We loved our stay. The house is in perfect order and is in a quiet neighborhood. After picking up my daughter's regalia we panicked when we realized it needed ironing and were thrilled to find an iron and ironing board at the house. Very well-stocked and very comfortable house. I highly recommend it for any family.
This property was perfect for my family - we loved being close to the park as well as Magazine Street shops. The house is very comfortable with everything you need and Anne was very responsive when we couldn't find certain things (like the coffee maker :)). Would rent again in a heartbeat!
We absolutely loved our stay at your home, Anne! Every detail was perfect from keys to bedding and kItchen supplies. The back courtyard is magical and the lighting gorgeous throughout the rental. I hope we get to stay at your home again in the future! Thanks again, Deirdre
The owner was great and made some special accommodations which helped our trip run smoothly. We love staying "uptown" which meant the location of this house was perfect for us. Just steps to Audubon Park and Magazine St meant we could exercise in the park in the mornings and we could walk to stores, restaurants and Whole Foods. Short walk to Tulane, Loyola and St Charles. The house had everything we needed including extras like coffee so we did not have to rush to the supermarket. Beds are very comfortable and lots of hot water. Lots of TV's. Great patio in the back for hanging out. We frequent Nola so we will definitely be staying here again.
Great location; Comfortable, roomy, well appointed
Loved the convenience of the neighborhood. House met all our needs and expectations. Very comfortable beds. Appreciated concierge notes and information.
Location!! This home is only two blocks from beautiful Audubon Park. We were able to run in the mornings or walk in the afternoons in the park. Close to the zoo so you could see the giraffes when you walked or hear the zoo animals! Also, one block from Magazine. We walked to eat at different restaurants or shop!
But the house itself was the best feature! Absolutely adorable! Plenty of room and a charming courtyard in the back. Well equipped kitchen . It’s a shotgun house with large rooms. Old world charm! Will try to rent this place again upon future visits.
We loved everything about your place,
from the location to the extremely clean, warm, comfortable home to the lovely friendly neighbors. New Orleans is one of our favorite cities and this district is a perfect place to see and enjoy all areas.
We’re definitely going to try and come back here again next year!!
Thank you so much for everything

Wonderful Neighborhood
My husband and I along with our daughter and son in law rented this place for our New Orleans trip. We brought our two dogs with us and it was a wonderful place to stay. We walk our dogs twice a day every day and the neighborhood was very safe for our daily walks and we went to the Audubon park each day as well. It was a very quiet neighborhood so we had no problems sleeping at night. It was very convenient for us to travel to all the places we wanted to go. We did enjoy our time there.

Great digs, super location will make your Nola experience memorable!
This comfy, well equipped little shotgun is perfectly located for New Orleans exploration. Right off famous Magazine Street and it’s miles long shopping and dining opportunities, with 2 bus routes into downtown and the French Quarter (and about 8-9 blocks from the street car route) you are also within blocks of Audubon Park and the zoo. A small courtyard in the back also lets you enjoy a morning coffee or afternoon refreshment.

Perfect Location
Coming to New Orleans is always coming home and this home made it truly feel like I was home. It was the perfect location. Walking distance to Whole Foods and two of my favorite restaurants, Taqueria and Reginellis. The space was also warm and welcoming, the perfect place to spend a relaxing girl's weekend. It was too cold to enjoy the beautiful garden in the back or the grill, but both would be amazing in warm weather. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Charming, and a great location
We loved the place. Roomy, excellent capacity for throwing a dinner party or two, and the kitchen was fairly well appointed with dishes and cooking vessels. We were thrilled with proximity to Audubon Park, St. Charles Ave., Whole Foods and all the charming neighborhood shops, restaurants and bakery. We would not hesitate to book this location again.

The home was perfect for our week in NOLA
We rented the home from Anne for six days for a group that included my wife and myself, my son and his wife, and our two dogs. It worked out perfectly. There was plenty of room for everyone, the kitchen was well-stocked with all the utensils we needed, the back patio was very nice for sitting outside to enjoy the wonderful weather, and the proximity to Audubon Park was really nice for taking the dogs on long walks. We definitely hope to stay there again in the future.
