The 60 m² property is part of a charming Liberty-style building from 1900 and features an entrance hall, living room with a large sofa bed (one and a half size), kitchen, bedroom with double bed, bathroom, and two balconies, accommodating up to 4 guests. The apartment is air-conditioned, and the larger, livable balcony overlooks the lively village square. Around the building, you’ll find a minimarket, pharmacy, tobacconist, hairdresser, and two bars. The village is surrounded by green hills, offering a strategic location to visit art cities like Lucca, Pisa, Florence, and seaside destinations such as Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi, and the entire Versilia, as well as renowned thermal towns like Montecatini Terme, Bagni di Lucca, and San Giuliano Terme. Free street parking is available in front of the house, with additional large parking areas nearby. Families with children are welcome; a crib and high chair can be provided on request. One pet is allowed. Smoking and parties are not permitted. The apartment is on the first floor, accessible via a short flight of a beautiful wrought-iron spiral staircase, with private access and entrance. The property offers an easy self-check-in system. Wi-Fi is not available.

We stayed here for a friend’s wedding in Italy. While the location was ideal, we were very disappointed with some basics. The fridge and freezer were turned off on arrival, taking over a day to cool in 39C heat, so we had no cold food or drinks. There was barely a full roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, the gas for cooking had been turned off at the mains, and the air conditioning remote didn’t work because the batteries were dead—again, not ideal in such heat.These are essentials you’d expect in a holiday rental, and it was frustrating to deal with them. The property has potential, but attention to these basics is really needed.
