The Skandi Lodge was a beautiful apartment in a wonderfully quiet Swiss village. We used Leissigen as a “home base” for visiting a number of places around central Switzerland over a few days. Local transportation was only a short walk from the apartment, and buses could take you to Interlaken in about 10 minutes. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed, including a wonderful view from its balcony. Thimo was a fantastic host who went above and beyond when my wife and I were delayed in our travels. His communication, assistance, and suggestions were excellent. We would definitely stay again if we wanted to visit the Bern region again in the future.
