The Bel Pace garden holiday apartment is located on the lake-facing side on the ground floor of an Italian two-family country house in the charming mountain village of Albonico, belonging to the lakeside town of Sorico – above Lake Mezzola, an offshoot of Lake Como.
With views of the Alps and Lombardy’s largest nature reserve, Pian di Spagna.

Nestled in a peaceful location close to nature, the apartment is surrounded by a spacious garden with a sunbathing lawn, shady trees and lush vegetation. Via the terrace with dining table, chairs and parasol, you enter the apartment directly.

The large property is richly planted, partly sloping and uneven, belongs to a relative and may be used by arrangement.
He is usually present on Sundays and for 1–2 weeks during the summer and is approachable and appreciative.

The property is partially fenced.

The entrance to the holiday apartment is via the garden terrace. Furnished in a cosy Lombard country house style, the apartment offers a comfortable atmosphere in which to feel at home. The entrance leads directly into the living area with a large dining table, double sofa bed, fireplace and television. Adjacent are the spacious kitchen and the bathroom. On the lake-facing side is the narrow bedroom with a double bed and a wardrobe.

The furnishings consist of solid wood furniture, a built-in masonry kitchen, granite and light-coloured tiled flooring.

Via a masonry external staircase there is a lockable cellar for bikes, sports equipment and food supplies.

Idyllic garden holiday apartment with Lombard charm in a relaxing location. The location is ideal for mountain and water sports. You can start hikes and walks directly from the property. The River Mera and the proximity to both lakes invite you to enjoy boat trips, canoeing or SUP tours.

Due to the hillside location and some projecting walls, small children require increased supervision.

Gera Lario is approximately 7 km away, and the route can easily be covered by bike, on foot or by car.
A pleasant ascent with recurring flat sections. In Gera Lario on Lake Como you will find beautiful flat beaches, some with sand, as well as excellent surfing and kitesurfing opportunities, including a surf school with equipment hire.

From your holiday destination of Albonico you can enjoy hikes, mountain bike tours and walks.
The apartment is also ideal for a winter holiday. The hiking and skiing areas of Val Malenco, Madesimo and St. Moritz are also easily accessible for day trips.

There is parking space for vehicles on the property with a remote-controlled garden gate.

Albonico: A small, authentic mountain village with around 70 inhabitants, belonging to the municipality of Sorico. It is situated on a sunny hillside high above Lake Mezzola with magnificent panoramic views over the valley and the surrounding nature reserve. The surroundings are characterised by unspoilt nature, traditional stone houses and a peaceful atmosphere – ideal for those seeking tranquillity, nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts.
Highlights: Pure nature between lake, river and mountains. The village lies nestled between Lake Como, Lake Mezzola and the River Mera within the Pian di Spagna Nature Reserve. Numerous hiking trails lead directly from Albonico into the surrounding forests and higher elevations.

Accessibility: Albonico is reached via a narrow but well-developed mountain road from Sorico. Public transport is available to Sorico or Colico – from there continue by car or taxi.
Leisure & Entertainment: From spring to autumn, numerous regional festivals and village celebrations take place in the area – from culinary markets and music evenings to traditional processions. The summer months are particularly lively with events in Colico, Gera Lario and the surrounding villages.
