This was our first time at this cottage, and we will be back next year, if we can find an opening in the schedule. This cabin is very comfortable, in so many ways. The beds were great, almost every window opened, the walk down to the beach is a bit challenging but very worth it, and the expansive porch is where we spent most of our time, watching lobsterman pulling traps and fisherman looking for supper. Our daily walks to Ocean Point were a highlight—a good workout that included amazing views of the Atlantic. It is a well-used home, so don’t come looking for perfect furnishings; it is a rustic cabin, and that’s part of its charm. (The lighting in the living room is marginal, but we didn’t spend much time there so it was a minor issue.) Finally, the house is well-outfitted for fun, and an evening of informal bocce ball was a great way to end a day.
