Our holiday rental is situated in a quiet and idyllic location on the outskirts of Bark (Bockhorn district) in Schleswig-Holstein—right on the edge of the forest and in close proximity to the Segeberg Forest. The region is perfect for long walks, bike rides, or exploring nature.

It’s just a 10-minute drive to the county seat of Bad Segeberg, known for Lake Segeberg, its charming old-town streets, and the famous Karl May Festival at the open-air theatre on the Kalkberg.

In about 45 minutes, you can reach the Baltic Sea coast—ideal for a day trip to Scharbeutz or Haffkrug, with their fine sandy beaches and maritime charm.
