Absolutely suberb get away! Beautifully decorated, everything in the apartment was first rate and ideally located for exploring the Outer Banks. We couldn't get the coffee pot to work so we contacted Janis - there was a brand new coffee pot waiting for us when we got back from exploring that day! Highly recommend the Couples Retreat - you will not be disappointed!

Janis’s place was fantastic! We enjoyed a long weekend and then extended the stay. They had everything we needed from beach chairs to condiments in the kitchen. The place was clean, comfortable, and very cute. Janice was incredibly responsive and helpful when we had questions. I would highly recommend!

Great experience! The retreat was very clean and easy to access. Only thing to be mindful of is that there isn’t an oven, however, the place is pack with tons of amenities to make up for it.

Nice little unit, perfect for a couple. The unit is on the lower floor of a large home, and there was nobody staying in the bigger home so felt very private. Very short drive to the beach access or could be walked in about 15-20 min. Quick drive to all the shops, bars, and restaurants in Duck!

Highly recommend this beautiful, well decorated apartment in a convenient location to Duck as well as other towns like Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head It is located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood about 1 block from the private access beach and private dock on the sound. There is a community pool and tennis courts a few houses down. We had the pool to ourselves most days. While staying here, you have a private hot tub and covered sitting area right outside your door which is great for morning coffee . For coffee lovers, there is a Keurig, a brew pot, and a French press. The kitchen has everything you need. My hubby and I enjoyed riding the beach bikes to Duck. It’s really the perfect stay for a couple. We loved our 5 nights here and appreciate how clean it was and the owners quick response to questions. We loved dining at The Blue Point in Duck. The Colington Cafe in Kill Devil as well as Awful Arthur’s. Manteo is a nice town to walk around, see The Lost Colony museum and do a dolphin cruise. Also recommend Wrights brothers and Jockey Ridge to climb the sand dunes.
