    The cottage was very clean and comfortable! Very close to town and walking distance from the boat docks. The property was very quiet and peaceful! Keith and Sheri were very helpful to answer any questions and replied in a timely manner! I world definitely stay here again!

    Our first visit to Beaver Island and our stay here made it a very enjoyable experience. The location right near the ferry dock and town is excellent. The view across the harbor and bay is even better than the pics in the listing. We would highly recommend this stay and when we come back we hope to book here again. We own multiple short term rentals and stay at many, so we are very particular when it comes to other rentals and this one checked all the boxes.

    We've stayed here multiple times, and it never disappoints. The home has everything we need, and the hosts are friendly, responsive, and wonderful to work with. The location is perfect—within walking distance of everything in town, Whiskey Point, the nature trail, beautiful Lake Michigan beaches, and so many amazing views. We especially love the beautiful harbor view from and around the property. We can't wait to come back!

    out of all the VRBO properties we have used over the years this was one of the best! the owners thought of ever including labeling light switches and leaving us hangers which we never get in other properties so the little things like that that made this stay so enjoyable. nice to have two decks to use, two bathrooms with walk in showers, two nice queen beds, very comfortable living conditions! what more can we say? location perfect, view of harbor area, very close to town, you can’t go wrong here!

    Lovely renovated property. Well equipped with all needed for family fun. Great gas grill, laundry room and very comfortable beds. Host were excellent and easy to communicate. I e rented on the island for 30+ years and this rental was the nicest one I have stayed at.

    The cottage on Beaver Island was perfect. My daughter and son-in-law, their 5 month old, my son-in-law’s parents and I stayed there for a week. We had plenty of room, could easily walk to the toy store, the lighthouse, the grocery store, restaurants, the ferry, and along the shore. This was my first trip to Beaver Island and it won’t be my last! I would happily stay at Keith and Shari’s cottage again!BTW the kitchen was large and well stocked, laundry was easy and needed with the baby, air conditioners in the bedrooms were a giant plus!

    The home was conveniently located near everything in town and of walking distance of several things we enjoyed visiting…the toy store and maritime museum. Very nice view of the bay from the front windows. Everything in the home was very nicely set up and the renovations we read about prior to our visit were well done. Our first visit to Beaver Island, and this was an excellent base for our adventures and a wonderful place to hangout between adventures.

    My family has been going to the island for nearly 60 years. My parents loved the charm and the beautiful lake Michigan scenery. Although my parents are no longer with us, I have been able to keep the tradition alive by bringing my children to the cottage. We still visit the island regularly and I savor the moments that I can spend reminiscing with my two boys of the times, and memories I had during the summers growing up on the island. It is, and will always be, a special place.

    Why they chose this property

    The cottage is ideally situated overlooking the harbor. The view is nothing less than spectacular. Sitting on the deck, watching the the boats sail by and enjoying the sunset is inspiring. Most of our guests say that just 'hanging out' on the deck and relaxing is one of the endearing qualities of the Beaver Island Harbor View.

    What makes this property unique

    The cottage is centrally located and over-looks the entire St. James township harbor, and is walking distance from grocery store, fish market, brewery, lighthouse, and ferry docks.
