Beachfront View from 9th Floor

Inverness #903 (STR number is 2023-1596): 9th-Floor Condo all About the Beach & Pool. Near Wanna Wanna`s. Welcome to the Inverness, right on the beach with secure, covered parking.

This condo is all about the beach. You can sit and watch the waves from your couch. Large balcony with 180° views of the ocean. A vacation-style, open kitchen and living area brings the family together. Nice bedroom with a queen bed and a fold out Murphy bed sleeps four.

Don't feel like getting sandy? Relax all day long by the 3rd floor rooftop sparkling pool and hot tub with ocean views on the south end of the building or in the the jumbo, lattice-covered, adult hot tub on the north end of the building.

Please be advised that during the off season there are often repair and update projects going on at the condos that I have no control over. If there is an amenity you have a question about, please feel free to reach out to me and inquire. I can provide whatever updates I have at the time.

Just down the beach is Wanna Wanna Beach Bar & Grill with live music, margaritas, beach volleyball and people-watching. Walking distance to Parrot Eyes Bayside Restaurant and activity center with jet skis and kayaks for rent. Also walking distance to Claytons, where you can see fireworks every weekend from April - September and enjoy Do not rent any property on the island that does not list the South Padre Island City Council Short Term Rental (STR) permit number (Ordinance No. 15-03) also called the HOT permit number. According to the ordinance, this permit number must be stated on all rental advertisements for said property. With this number, you can verify that the property you are renting is a valid rental.

The view is amazing! I’m not sure the view or the location of the facility can be beat! The unit was clean, everything worked well (ac, hot water, fridge, microwave, toaster, toilet). Perfect score on the big things!There were some small annoyances that may just be me. When I pay a lot, I expect a lot. And there is a very frequent mechanical sound that permeates the unit all hours of the days. At first I thought it was a washing machine agitating. I spoke with the host who didn’t think that was the issue. Perhaps it was just a water pump that is needed for high levels? Not sure. But I heard it on and off 24 hours a day. And outside the unit, the balcony was great. Again, the view and very nice furniture was supplied by the host. But 70% of the time, somebody on a neighboring balcony was smoking. Sometimes cigarettes, time or two was marijuana. And those are smells that I cannot stand. Neither of these are the host’s fault, but this is a review of my experience and the mechanical noise and the smoke smell took away from my enjoyment. YMMV. I did not reduce the score because of these issues, but the next guest should be aware of these potential issues. And while the potential exists everywhere, I don’t run into these issues often at all.
