About this property

Tall Timbers Retreat is only eight miles from downtown Nacogdoches, which is THE oldest town in Texas. Nestled among the majestic pine trees, these competitively priced, fully furnished cabins are updated and include all the comforts of home. We are a low-light retreat. This allows you to view the amazing stars and have a getaway from technology.

We have a total of five cabins, Rose Hall, and a beautiful red barn. Redbud cabin is our largest cabin where we can sleep up to 18 guests. If you require each person to have their bed then Redbud cabin will sleep 13 people.

Tall Timbers caters to families who enjoy the active lifestyle, but who also like to unwind. Outside your door, 30 wooded acres invite you to explore. Take a walk down to the barn. Gather your family and have a day of fun playing sand volleyball, corn-hole, or horseshoes, or utilize our on-site baseball/soccer field. Grab a book and take advantage of our many outdoor swings and rocking chairs. Imagine the peaceful and tranquil sounds of nature as you let your troubles fade away with the afternoon breeze. As evening approaches, gather around the bonfire and gaze at the stars while making s'mores.

Our crown jewel is the Rose Hall! It can accommodate up to 75 seated guests, which makes it ideal for large groups. This is a great place for family meals, group studies, meetings, playing ping-pong, karaoke, piano, and Bingo, we have it all!! Maybe just relax in the rocking chairs playing a game of checkers or catch a movie on our large LCD TV. Rose Hall is an additional fee.

WE ARE PET FRIENDLY!!! Bring your dog from home or your HORSE from the barn!! We have the facilities that they will love!!! We have HUGE outdoor kennels, stables, fenced pastures, and shelter from the weather. *Additional cost for pets.

Rented 2 large 2 story 2 bath cabins to host over 20 family members for son's graduation from SFASU.. This property made the perfect venue for what turned into a weekend celebration... facilities were spacious well lit, and well ventilated..renovated like new, and nicely decorated. Good location. The crown jewel of the property was the cafeteria/kitchen which made the perfect setting for graduation dinner gathering of 30 plus.. Joining cabins, large rooms some private at our request turned my son's graduation weekend into a pleasant unexpected family celebration and reunion. The rustic grounds offer spacious play area for children with swings and play bars. Allergy sufferers fear not I suggest that you offer as I did .Allegra.... it helped to make it a pleasant experience for all of my allergy sufferers including my daughter who has a cat allergy.. I would recommend this rental highly to anyone... family and guest were comfortable and had a great time.
