Long weekend retreat

Three sisters and our husbands looking for a chance to visit the local amenities and come back to a comfortable home to enjoy a view of the lake. Absolutely perfect. The kitchen was well stocked. Lots of room to relax! The nightly sunsets just made it even better!

2 couples for a long weekend. Place was perfect with lovely views of the lake. Small thing is that we were there only 4 days and just 2 dishwasher pods. It is not close to a grocery store so for a weekend perhaps one or two more would be better.

Great place, wrong address!

We enjoyed the property when we got there, but the address linked in the emails is incorrect. You need to navigate to Ovid, NOT Romulus, or else you end up in a state park. Thankfully office staff answered our call and gave us the correct info immediately.

Beautiful house. Really great view, which I was nervous from pictures we didn’t really have one. Very clean. Property management was friendly to work with. Only suggestion is black out curtains in the rooms, especially the first floor bedroom. Everything else was amazing. Thank you for the great stay!

Gorgeous house in a fantastic location!

Great layout. Comfortable furniture and beds. Across the street from Seneca Lake with lots of windows on the lake side of the house (as well as a deck) for beautiful evening views. House is very well maintained. A/C and WiFi are both strong. 🙂 Property is managed by a company, not an individual. The pre-stay paperwork seemed more complicated because of that, but communication with the company and the actual stay were very easy. We will look to stay here again. If the house was for sale, we would look into buying it.

Pretty much Perfect

We had 3 couples celebrating anniversaries and we love wine. The pictures seemed to show that the lake access was directly across the street but it was down a ways. It also was not private access. The coffee maker and grill probably need to be replaced as they were wonky but overall the kitchen was much more appointed than we expected (based on previous house rentals) with cooking equipment, dishes, etc. Definitely worth the $. Beats a hotel every time!

Close to the wineries

Very nice accommodations with only two minor issues: The bathrooms don't have enough towel racks so we had to hang our towels on coat hangers and the wireless Internet was spotty. We had difficulties with our computers and watching TV because of frequent buffering on days when the weather wasn't near perfect. The view would have been great without the utility building across the street but that couldn't be helped. We would definitely stay here again but we'd bring a drying rack for our towels.

Amazing place, in a great location!!

We had an amazing stay. The house was in an excellent location, very clean and check in / check out were super easy. There were 4 of us girls and 1 infant under 1. It was the perfect house for checking out a few wineries during the day, and sitting on the deck at night overlooking the water. The only thing I would suggest to any renters coming in, definitely make sure to bring things like cooking oil / coffee filters / paper towels and toilet paper. You get 1 paper towel and 1 toilet paper, and they do have dishes but everything else you should definitely plan to bring or buy if you plan to cook there! Would stay here again for sure!

Private Lake Access

Our stay was wonderful. The house was spotless and had all the amenities needed. Our deck view of the lake was amazing and less than a 2 min walk to the lake access which had plenty of seating and shelter. The house is located in a private dead end road with no traffic and a quick picturesque 20 min drive to Geneva and lots of wineries to visit. The basement was a huge game room with air hockey and table tennis and lots of other activities for indoor entertainment. We had plenty of space in the house to eat and sit together and still spread out and have privacy. This house is great for families who want to get away and just relax but yet still be able to explore with quick drives to local attractions. We visited the Corning Glass Museum and Watkins Glen as well as Geneva. We look forward to staying here again next year.

House and neighborhood was very nice and friendly. Only complaint was listing said house included a dock for our boat. There were docks there, but public and we couldn't leave the boat docked overnight so had to put in and take out every day.

Uncommon comfort and ease at this lovely home

We hosted three generations at this delightful home for a long weekend and it exceeded our already-high expectations! From the simplicity of coordinating our arrival, the cleanliness and care taken of the home in anticipation of our visit, a full panoply of useful amenities (gas grill, pleasant patio set, wine fridge, smart TV and good internet, ping pong table!), comfortable decor, and the terrific views of the lake, it was wonderful at all times of day. "House rules" were clear, rational, and the property over-delivered in every way. We had a chance to interact briefly (we were doing a lot of activities off site) with a few neighbors, and they were very friendly. Super location for a wide variety of local attractions, which made it a great home base. Thank you, we'd love to come again!
