We had a really wonderful stay. Clearly a lot of thought had been put into what to provide guests to make their stay easier. We especially loved the large backyard that went right into the lake. We also loved the fact that we were directly across the street from Sheldrake Winery. Highly recommend!

Excellent location. The area was very quiet. I was a bit nervous about this given its proximity to a winery but there was minimal traffic from cars or boats when we were there. Nice quiet area where the kids could swim and paddle around. Very helpful host! The house itself is a bit dated but everything is accurately represented in the pictures. There were some nice touches of luxury with the espresso maker with milk foamer. And the shed is well stocked with water toys, tubes, canoe, kayak, chairs. We had a great time.

This house is located in a very quaint, quiet and walkable neighborhood! The house itself is as advertised and was clean, and very well stocked with pretty much anything you would need. Between the 2 kitchens there are plenty of dishes, pots and pans, silverware, serving and cooking utensils etc. The kitchen on the main floor has more counter space than the lower level kitchen and makes for easier prepping and cooking, but we wanted to eat in the lower level kitchen since It has such nice water views and you can walk right out to the yard and lake from there. I would recommend bringing a folding table to set up in the lower kitchen to place food to be served on since counter space is so limited. Plenty of towels and outdoor items in the shed… inner tubes, noodles, floaties, bubbles, board games etc. Having Sheldrake Winery directly across the street is such a nice feature. Cayuga Shorline is listed as a nearby restaurant but was not open for business all summer apparently. We truly loved this location and would definitely stay here again! We had no issues with anything at all.

Excellent location for girls weekend getaway

A small group of friends stayed at this property for a 50th birthday winery tour weekend. The property was extremely clean, well-stocked with everything we needed, and easy to communicate with the owner. Beautiful lakeside views, especially at sunrise!

Absolutely wonderful property - in every possible way! The house is lovely and has everything that anyone could possibly need. The backyard slopes gently to the lake - where waves lap gently at the bank. Two kitchens and multiple living rooms allow guests to spread out or congregate together. Truly one of the most exceptional places we have ever stayed!
