The house is right across the street from the lake - with beautiful views right from the breakfast nook. The rooms are decently sized, and there is amble shared space for spending time together.The main downside is that the heat does not work so, the place is not suitable outside of summer. The house also has a distinct mold smell.

Relaxing vacation

We had a lovely stay at Lucky Stone Cottage. The property was exactly as presented. We especially enjoyed relaxing by the lake late in the day- it was so peaceful!

Great long weekend !

The location of this property was perfect! We enjoyed local attractions such as hiking, water falls, and wineries. Then were able to walk across the road and enjoy beautiful Cayuga Lake! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful spot in a beautiful community, but for what amounted to more than 600 dollars a night I would expect better and more cordial service from the local agency. The door lock was not set when we arrived and we had to work for 15 minutes via phone to get in. Our TV was out for more than half the stay, and we are still waiting for a colander. Please clarify what portion beach is available to renters. I asked, but never received an answer. The owner lives near-by. He was very kind and tried to get the broken TV to work.

Cayuga Lake

The home was is a nice location. Bedrooms were spacious. Plenty of seating for all. Nice view of the lake. The pull out sofa was not comfortable. The kitchen was pretty well stocked.

Fall 2021 Birthday Trip

The cottage is much bigger inside than it appears. Plenty of room for our group of 7. The kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked all our meals there. The beds were comfortable, keeping in mind that the sleeper sofa is just a sleeper sofa. The place was clean and safe and had a beautiful view of the lake.

Great place to spend the week!

This is a lovely, clean and tidy home right across the small street from Cayuga Lake. It has a new coat of paint outside, so it looks much better than the picture. There were 4 adults and a child and we had plenty of room to spread out. There are actually TWO dining rooms and living rooms! My adult children and my grandson walked across the street, and used the shed provided there to store their fishing gear, and spend quite a few happy hours fishing, There was lots of room to store the food we brought, and plenty of pots and pans for cooking it! I would definitely go back again!

Labor day weekend

My family booked this house labor day weekend (4 nights). We had a nice stay but we would not return. The house is old and outdated which is fine however for the price of the house per night I was dissapointed at how little the property comapny provided to us. We were given one garbage bag per can and one roll of toilet paper. We had to go into town and buy house stuff that I think should be provided by the rental property, this place isn't cheap! Some of the drawers in the kitchen wouldn't open and the most frustration was at night we wanted to watch a movie on HBO but someone who stayed at the cabin put a parental lock on HBO. We called the rental property to see what the code was but they were unaware of it. Over all we had a nice stay but for the cost of the place We expected more.

Lovely location & view!

The house was very comfortable, and we enjoyed the outdoor front porch. The view of the lake was wonderful and we loved how quiet the area was.

The Place We Needed

A great respite for a family trip to memorialize a loved one. The house had plenty of space for everyone to sit and share stories. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The setting was gorgeous and we took many pictures down by the lake

Terrific getaway for our family of 7. Understated but lovely. Plenty of room. Beautiful location but hard to find in the dark. Only 30 minutes from Cornell. Great value.

Great Weekend Geta6

The house was much larger then expected. Very clean and many sleeping accommodations. All the kitchen amenities you need if you to stay in and cook. Very large yard with great lakefront property and cant hear a peep at night. Would highly recommend!

Great location ~ wonderful stay!

It’s our fifth time staying at this cottage ~ very roomy ~ love the beach front and front screened in porch! It was a great getaway during this pandemic as social distancing outside is so easy! Plan to visit again next year if we can!

Really enjoyed our stay!

We love this property ~ have stayed here before. Need to take spices, olive oil, aluminum foil, paper plates and anything else that you might use every day. Lots of room in the cottage with plenty of regular plates, coffee mugs, glasses and wine glasses. Lots of room on the beach too ~ beautiful spot! ❤️
