Great stay in a safe location. Nice appliances. Chez was available and easy to communicate with. Can use public transportation and very close to the J street car if without a car. Easy walk to whole foods. Would stay again if visiting my son.

My 78 year old Mom came to visit me and stayed at the adorable and amazingly well-appointed Olive's gate! Chez was a wonderful host and was very responsive to any questions. Note that the entrance to the home is on a very steep street. My mom has some mobility issues and uses a cane, so we were a little nervous at first but she took her time walking up and down was able to navigate it very well! The studio is spacious and comfortable and the private garden patio was lovely. Just a block from Noe Valley restaurants and shopping. Would definitely recommend!

The place was comfortable, clean, and spacious place with good amenities. The large shower was much appreciated and the deck was large enough to enjoy and relax on. Very private. It’s about a 25min walk to Castro but a 5min uber/lyft ride.

First of all Chez is the best! So kind and helpful and made everything go smoothly. Thank you.This cozy place is a hidden gem in a perfect all-around location for a SF visit (close enough Uber/Lift ride to any location in the City) and it sits in Noe Valley - which is a fun and vibrant area in and of itself. Lots of restaurants and shops as well as a Whole Foods just a few blocks away.The room was very clean and comfortable with a perfectly appointed kitchen (but note no freezer in fridge - not a big deal for us but good to know) and a large bathroom with a big amazing shower. It was a lovely 3-night stay celebrating a birthday and we’ll be back!

Great spot, host was very responsive and easy to coordinate with, patio was cute. The shower has incredible water pressure! There is neither a hot tub nor washer&dryer (listing had these offerings marked at the time of our booking). Overall a great place to stay, lovely neighborhood with great public transit connectivity via the J train.
