This DIAMOND PROPERTY has been complete renovated to meet the standards of "a cut above". Sticks n' Stones is brand new, renovated inside and out. There is a lower unit, "Sticks" and an upper unit, "Stones" . Combine both units for four bedrooms.

Fenced front yard makes for a happy pet!

Stones the upper unit, has 2 Bedrooms and two baths. The master has a king bed with an en suite bath. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a hall bath.

Each unit is equipped with a washer dryer, full kitchen, dinette, living room and fireplace.

The outdoor seating area has a gas grill, plenty of seating, and a large gas fire pit.

Step outside and take ten steps to Main Street and all the shops and restaurants.

Nice property in the heart of town

Very clean and well appointed. Great location. Easy parking. The fire pit and gas grill were great, we enjoyed both. We had everything we needed, but a set of steak knives would be nice.

Lovely property that felt like home. The location was perfect for our family - we walked to Main Street for shopping/restaurants/Blowing Rock Park and the kids used the elementary school playground/sports field right behind the house. The landscaping is beautiful and we enjoyed hanging outside by the fire pit. Loved that we could bring our dog and he had a fenced yard to frolic in. Excellent experience all around.

Girls Getaway

This house is perfectly located within walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants. We enjoyed local watering holes and even ventured over to Grandfather Vineyards. The house is cozy, well-appointed and was perfect for 4 high school friends to gather many decades after graduation!

Best Rental Ever! Bring your dog!

My 2nd time staying in this rental. It was just as amazing as I remembered from my last visit. It is conveniently located within walking distance to a number of great restaurants in Blowing Rock. Many allow dogs for outdoor dining. Minutes from several great hikes off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Walking distance to Bass Lake. Karen has created a super dog friendly rental. Small fenced in area for potty breaks. Supplies for baths. Well appointed all around. Loved it.

Practically Perfect in Every Way

I don't know where to start. The house was spotless, the location is perfect, the owners are accessible, and the weather was amazing. We had a wonderful long weekend in Blowing Rock. The location allowed for many walks into town for shopping, take-out pick up, and ice cream. We were close to the outdoor activies (hiking, whitewater rafting, and horseback riding) that we had planned. The outdoor space was nice for reading on the front porch. Our dog even had an impromptu play date with Mia who was lovely. We were able to enjoy the outdoor grill with friends (although fire pit wasn't working). Overall a fantastic getaway. We are most certainly looking forward to a return trip.

Great location, especially for kids

We loved having the school’s playground and fields behind the house, and spent both evenings by the fire pit while the kids played. The house is in the perfect location to walk anywhere in downtown blowing rock. The house was clean and as described. Be sure to bring shampoo and conditioner, as only bar soap is provided .

Why they chose this property

You will enjoy the detail we have taken in both the design and furnishing of our cottage. The kitchen is fully equipped for your cooking pleasure. The bathrooms are beautifully appointed with furniture vanities and specialty sinks and faucets. Gas fireplace makes for an easy fire any time. Fully air conditioned and heated for your comfort, each unit has its own controls. Washer and dryer in each unit.

What makes this property unique

Walk out your door and be steps from Main Street and all its quaint restaurants and fine shops. Boone Golf Course is ten minutes away, as are Tweetsie Railroad, several ski mountains, trout fishing, kayaking, snow and river tubing and some of the best hiking. Tangier Outlets ten minutes from downtown.
