Nestled in a pine forest just below the Heavenly Ski Resort, this beautifully appointed 6 bedroom, 4 bath family friendly mountain home is a tranquil retreat, but still in the heart of South Lake Tahoe. Close to the top restaurants and casinos, this home is also literally steps from the Heavenly Ski Shuttle—so your group can hit the slopes with ease, no car required. It is also located close to world-class hiking and biking, and just minutes from the lake for all of your fun-filled water adventures.

You’ll love the open floor plan and the rustically chic furnishings. Upstairs, the Great Room is equipped with a 60' LCD TV and Blue Ray player, gas fireplace, pool table, and wet bar.

The kitchen features a Viking gas range, stainless appliances, and granite counters. The open plan ensures you can prepare food and drink all while enjoying socializing with your group. A generously-sized dining table plus counter seating at the island provide space for everyone. The room also opens onto a balcony that looks out onto an undeveloped lot of pine trees. Furnished with lounge chairs and a barbecue, it’s the perfect place for warm-weather cooking.


The comfortable bedrooms are split between upstairs and downstairs, and all open to balconies or patios. The downstairs bathrooms have showers and the upstairs bathrooms have shower/baths.

Location excellent!We have planned our family vacations in Lake Tahoe for the last 10 years. We stayed at the house next door in 2013 & already familiar with the area.We always have a wonderful week with family. Our host was most cordial & pleasant to communicate with.However, the property wasn’t very clean upon arrival. The only thing that looked like that was given attention in way of cleanliness was the towels & linens. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, bakeware dishes & utensils. But some of the cookware was rusty & not suitable for cooking/baking.Despite this, my family thoroughly enjoyed the stay at the house on David Lane.

A Heavenly Place to Stay

We couldn't have been more happy about our decision to stay at Christina's cabin. Location was perfect; the shuttle to Heavenly's California Lodge picked up our group of skiers and snowboarders 50 steps from the front door! Incredibly convenient. We enjoyed playing pool at night by the ambiance of the fireplace. Christina's instructions were very clear and it's apparent that she cares a great deal for her guests. Would absolutely recommend! 5 stars.

Property and location very nice. The house needs some repairs. Jacuzzi tubs in bathroom didnt work. But a very nice place to stay. Unfortunately alot of our excursions were cancelled due to no snow. But we still had fun

Cozy house in great location

Overall, I was really happy with our stay here. The location was great and nearby the lake + downtown areas which made exploring easy and stress free. The house was very clean when we arrived and detailed instructions for things like the WiFi and entertainment system were placed throughout. We really appreciated the pool table and nearby wetbar which were highlights of the stay, lots of fun! The bedrooms were also comfortable and a group of 8 adults were able to sleep comfortably. While I didn't interact with the host much, prior to my arrival they made sure I had everything we needed so there were no surprises. I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and wants a bigger space that can entertain during the quiet moments of your stay in Lake Tahoe.

Tahoe Ski Trip

This was our first time visiting Heavenly Ski Resort and it was amazing. The house location was what made this a great pick. There was a shuttle that picked us up right at the end of the street making getting to the resort simple. Christina was very responsive and even suggested great restaurants to try out in the area. The house had a cozy cabin feel making it a great place to spend time with friends. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for our meals. The house was very spacious and gave our large group more than enough room. I wish this location had a hot tub to relax after a long day of skiing and enjoy the mountain views. But overall, it was a great stay and would highly recommend this place!

We love Tahoe! We have been coming to Lake Tahoe all our lives visiting our Grandmothers cabin and now we are really excited to be able to own a piece of Lake Tahoe.

Why they chose this property

Our house is so centrally located and is minutes away from all the favorite spots of South Lake Tahoe. In the winter months you are literally 5 minutes away from Heavenly Ski Resort, it is so relaxing to ski all day and then be able to come home and relax and play a game of pool. In the summer adventures are endless. Access to the lake is again 5 minutes away just down Ski Run Blvd. We love our house and can't wait for others to enjoy as well.

What makes this property unique

The upstairs Great Room is my favorite part of the house. My whole family enjoys cooking and hanging out.
